General
1. As per Proboards' ToS, Naruta is a PG-13 site. No explicit sexual or violent content may be posted here.
2. We don't hold activity checks. However, if you are inactive for a month, you'll be sent an email, after which your account will be deactivated after another week with no reply.
3. Be excellent to each other. Don't harass other members for posts or try to push someone into a plot they're not comfortable with.
4. Don't argue with the staff. We'll try to work with you on details so that things fit both the game and your concept, but the final word rests with the admin.
Staff chain of command is Mods-->NorthenLight36-->KenderBard
5. There's no character limit, but try not to overload yourself. You do need to make a profile for each and every one of them.
6. You will be given three opportunities to fix your application if rejected. We have a high standard for literacy and reading comprehension. If things can't be worked out by that point, this is probably not the game for you.
Posting
1. No word count; just make your post as long (or short) as it needs to be.
2. Don't change the default colour of your text; we have several skin options for players to choose from and posts need to be readable on all.
3. Before your character does something to cause harm to someone else's, make sure the other player is okay with it.
4. You may not post actions, thoughts, or reactions for anyone else's characters but your own. (This includes monsters, animals, and NPCs.)
5. Time on the main board is present time and is more or less linear. This being the case, each character is limited to one thread at a time on the main boards. For threads taking place prior to what is happening on the main board, we have an "Out of Time" forum. There, characters may be in as many threads as you wish.
Characters
1. A character can be created with two signs at most; third signs are reserved for national leaders and characters who have been blessed by one of the Forces in-game.
2. With the exception of some Beast Elementals, a character may not have unusual eye or hair colour, though they may dye their hair for effect.
3. Expies are allowed, but ICly, all characters must be from the world of Naruta.
4. A character cannot be created having already been Force-blessed with an ability or item. Blessings or deals with the Forces must occur in-game.
Setting
1. Though cultures vary, Naruta is generally a medieval-styled setting and the level of technology reflects this. Keep this in mind.
2. Naruta is a magic-free setting. There are no spells, wizards, or magical items. What things of power may be in play are the result of being blessed by a Force.
3. While other sentient beings exist and are occasionally encountered (usually during site plots), they are not freely available races. Certain race options exist for players after they've been here a while (minimum of 3 months for the first option), but those also cost points to create. For more information, see this post.
4. There is no gunpowder in Naruta. Most inventions and items have to be from a medieval period. If you're not sure if something would fit or not, PM me and I'll give you the green light or not.
