"Me too," Twilight admitted quietly. He let go of Dusk so that he could embrace his brother as well. Sunray clinged to him as tightly as he had to Snowflake.
"Do you think any less of me?" he asked his elder brother softly.
"Never," Twilight told him and rest his forehead against his brother's briefly. "The mark of one's bravery is not measured in the willingness to give up their life. You're a good, brave man and I'm glad you're not going to die."
"I want Lyra," Sunray said softly, finally letting go. Twilight nodded and watched as Sunray hurried off, eager to be with his wife and daughter, his reasons for clinging to life as he had.
"We should all go back," Snowflake put in, moving over to Dusk to hold her hand. "I want desperately to speak with Midnight."
"You ladies go," Twilight told them. "I want to see to Zira. I'll be along shortly." He turned and headed towards his dear friends.
~Here, then~ Filly murmured and her mental presence pressed against his firmly but not roughly. She spread calm, peace, compassion over his mind, pushing down all the anger and hurt under a barrier that would hold for at least a couple hours provided they didn't receive any MORE shocks. ~Be at ease.~
Harmony swallowed. She didn't say it aloud, not with her father acting the way he was, but she did send a tentative touch to Farf's mind. ~I'm glad that you're not upset about this. I'm... Glad someone isn't,really.~
Locket sniffled and turned to hug Nagi close, to draw him into the embrace. She already felt a little better, just for Lilith's comfort and love. "Why did you step forward?" she asked her grandmother in a sad, confused voice.
