Leif gave a mental blink at being pushed back into his mind and away from all the things he had in his system. Was this a trip, or was he sober? And why robes? His habits had nothing to do with religion. Oh, but what was on offer...that sounded good. There was nothing lost by agreeing, and he really wanted to feel something like what that imp had done to him years ago.
Yes....
Zira gave a shuddering sigh as he leaned against Zack. ~I'll be all right,~ he murmured softly, not wanting him to worry more than he needed. He had comfort without and within. He'd be fine. And he hoped he would have the chance to do at least some small act against Mitura and Karau for what they each had done.
Dart would have sucked in his breath at that if he could. It felt...wrong, somehow, for him as an Efilian to just sit there and let someone die. But it was Efil herself asking this of him, and he knew, especially since his brother's death, that sometimes you were too late or there was too much wrong to heal someone. I don't think I'll be able to hold it together well, but I'll do it, he thought.
Clever Phrase Goes Here
"Mind," Nagi responded. "So my telekinetic attacks can be all the more powerful. I wonder if I'll get it back when it's our turn to rule Khelek," he mused, "or if I'll be granted the sign of our people instead."
Schuldig frowned and looked toward Harmony as well. "She won't be asked to fight," he muttered. "She can't." So help him if Efil asked that of his daughter....
"I miss being that person," Nuo admitted quietly. "He was happier. Less afraid." He hadn't been betrayed by both a Force and the people he thought he'd belonged with.
