A young woman stands crying|Talen'sul

[Kender Bard]

Crowds of people gather around her, obviously concerned for their fellow Wind elemental. As she weeps, she continues to murmur over and over, "My Avaris..."

A cloaked figure watches from the shadows...

[Kender Bard]

Hawk wanders up, gently weaving past the other people. Blinking, he puts his arms around the distraught woman. "Gilding, what is it? What about Avaris?"

The woman buries her face in Hawk's shoulder and cries, "He has been taken by the Storms!"

Acqua scowls angrily. "Do you know where they took him?" she asks the woman, keeping her tone as gentle and comforting as she can.

The figure listens intently.

[Kender Bard]

The woman wipes tears from her eyes, trembling. "No. I just know that we were out near the borders of our land and a group of storms took us by surprise. They overpowered Avaris and then ran off with him. When I tried to follow, they made threats I couldn't ignore, so I came back here."

A deep red glow suddenly emits from beneath the strangers cowl for a brief moment. He turns and walks off towards the lands of Maelstrom...

Acqua frowns, knowing she and Taurus have a rescue mission of their own to worry about but still feeling sorry for this woman. Quietly she pulls Taurus aside to have a private word with him. "I know we need to rescue Thelon, but we are heading into Maelstrom anyway... How do you feel about offering to look around there and see if we can find out anything about this Avaris guy?"

[Kender Bard]

Taurus frowns for a moment, then shrugs. "Couldn't hurt, so long as we don't go too out of our way."

[Northen Light36]

Acqua nods in agreement then goes back over to the woman. "Excuse me miss, but my friend and I are traveling to Maelstrom... I can't make any promises, but if you like we could look around a bit while we're there and see if we can find your friend..."

[Kender Bard]

The woman blinks slowly, then hugs Acqua quite suddenly. "Thank you, thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me!"

Acqua flinches at first, not being much of one for physical contact, then relaxes and gently returns the hug. "I can't promise anything," she tells the woman again. "But we'll do what we can."

[Kender Bard]

"I promise to keep looking if they can't find him, Yeona," Hawk assures the woman. She smiles at him fondly and he blushes. "Er.. Taurus, Acqua, we should go now. Ready?"
Taurus, smirking, nods.

Acqua nods her agreement and picks up Faith. "Let's go," she tells the two men.
