With fear in his eyes...|Naurorod

[Kender Bard]

A scrawny looking man flees with all speed he can muster, but trips and falls. Desperately, he scrambles to get back up on his feet, but cries out in pain as his ankle is twisted.

[azrayel]

He falls from the heavens, landing gracefully upon his feet before the man. He glances behind him, at the direction the man had been running from.

[Kender Bard]

Hot on his heels, two much stronger men are chasing him down. The scrawny one cries out as he notices how close they've gotten, and struggles to continue on, hampered now by a very painful limp.

[azrayel]

He arches his eyebrow as he asks "Is there something I can help you with, Gentleman?" He keeps himself in a non-threatening stance, but the thumb on his right hand rubs itself against his forefinger repeatedly.

[Kender Bard]

One of the men grunts, "Nothing you need to worry about, Beast." The other one says nothing, merely grabs the scrawny runt by the back of the neck with a big, meaty hand and starts to drag him off. The scrawny one squirms desperately and cries out.
"Help me, oh Forces, help me!"

[azrayel]

"Actually..." Azrayel says, as he pushes his glasses back to the bridge of his nose with his middle finger, "I'm only half beast." His right arm snaps out, and with the snap of his fingers, a ribbon of flame bursts forth and enshrouds the man who dares speak down to him.

[Kender Bard]

The other man is quick to snap his hand to his fire symbol on his forearm, and writhing fire shield springs up to absorb the elements as the two cancel each other out. "What's your problem?! Are you looking to start something?!"

[azrayel]

Kicking off with his foot, he soars forward, and delivers a particularly savage kick to the man, a grin on his face. "Always."

[Kender Bard]

The man leans back, his hand darting out to slap Azrayel's foot aside.

[azrayel]

Kicking off the hand, Azrayel lands a few feet away. "What do you want with him" Azrayel asks, nodding his head towards the scrawny fellow.

[Kender Bard]

The man holds out his hand and forms a spear of fire. "None of your business! Now last chance to leave."

[azrayel]

"A spear? How uninspired." Thrusting his arm forward, he again forms a ribbon of flame. This time, however, he keeps a tight rein over it, twirling it over his head once before cracking it down against the ground.

[Kender Bard]

"And a whip for the guy who's about to get his ass whipped," the other quips, rushing forward suddenly and thrusting out with a palmstrike.

[azrayel]

Leaping several feet into the air, Azrayel twirls his ribbon about, wrapping it around one of the foolish warriors ankles, and yanks it.

[Kender Bard]

As the man starts to fall, he quickly spins his spear to entwine with the whip, and yanks, hoping to bring Azrayel down as well.
