~I'm here~ Thelon announced, arriving outside of Shadow's home. He didn't bother going inside, figuring Shadow would join him outside. Even now his mind was abuzz with activity; Thelon reached out and, lightly, began to touch the minds of people near him. Nothing invasive--not even listening to surface thoughts. He was just burning nervous tension.

Shadow arrived quickly, dressed somewhat casually. No need to advertise himself as king to every casual glance when they were hunting a murderer. "Where do you want to start?" he asked, in the same quiet, dangerously calm voice he'd used when telling Thelon he intended to be part of this hunt. "What have you learnt?"
Forces help the murderer if Shadow got his hands on him.
"I'm not sure where to start," Thelon admitted in a low voice, slipping his hands into the pockets of his overcoat. "It's not much but it's the only lead I've gotten."
He began by explaining his findings in Fira and what he learned from Latia.
"She's far from the best source," he admitted. "But I thought it'd be worth checking things out here a bit. If I come up empty handed after a couple of days, I'll head home and pick up the questioning again."

~In the markets, Master,~ Latia replied. ~Then I followed him into the merchant quarter. I thought he went into a tavern there, but there was a crowd so I couldn't see properly and he wasn't in the tavern when I looked.~

"Sounds like a plan," Shadow murmured, setting off in the direction of markets at a brisk walk. Do you really think the man we're looking for is Wild- is Tres' murderer? he asked silently, hoping Thelon was 'listening'. He seriously wanted this to be the man, wanted to be able to put a face on the man he wanted nothing more then to slowly torture and kill for what had been done to his sister.

~I don't know~ Thelon sighed. ~It would be convenient. I'm hopeful it is, because otherwise I am back to no leads at all. I won't be convinced until I have a chance to speak with the man or possible peer into his thoughts.~

"Well let's see if we can find him," Shadow murmured.
A search of the markets provided them with no new leads, though when some of the stall keepers are questioned, they remember a man matching the description who comes by the markets fairly often, but they can't give any more information then that.
"Want to go to the merchant quarter now?" Shadow asks Thelon. "Or look around here some more?"

Shadow nodded and started towards the merchant quarter. As he left the markets however, he was bumped into by a man in a hurry. A man who matched the description of the man they were looking for perfectly and who did have a very strong resemblance to Latia.
"Sorry," the man mumbled as he hurried towards the market.

"Wait!" Thelon called out and turned quickly to follow. "Wait there!" ~I wish to speak with you!~ Even as he followed, he grabbed Shadow by the wrist to make sure the other man knew he'd found something.

The man glanced at them, surprised and unsettled seeming by Thelon's shout. "I'm sorry, I need to finish my shopping," he replied, barely slowing down. "I can't stop to talk." There was odd note in the man's tone and an odd look on his face, almost a complusion.
Thelon frowned at that, confused. ~It's important~ he told the man, still in pursuit, his mind brushing against the others'. ~Please, you have no idea how important. I just want to talk and it won't take a moment. I'll even compensate you for your time if you like.~
