Flash gives Cascata a warm smile as he leads the way through the gates of Maelstrom. "It won't be long now," he tells her, but it's hard to say whether he's really speaking to Cascata or more to himself. Although Flash has been careful to keep the pace comfortable for his companions and certainly hasn't voiced a word of complaint, it's been clear to see Flash is eager to be home.

Cascata seems well at ease in her surroundings, despite the danger to her here. She looks around with the wide eyes of a curious tourist. "I don't think I've ever been to Maelstrom," she says in wonderment. "This place isn't anything like home. Very... Very dry and square." She's careful not to slow the two of them down, however, and once they're within the grounds of the mansion, she looks quite startled to see a red haired woman in fine gowns come rushing out of the mansion towards them, smiling.

"Flash!" Salacia squealed, "You're home!"

Flash grins, running forward to hug Salacia. "Of course I am," he tells her with a loving smile. "You didn't think I'd stay away, did you?"

Out of respect for Flash, the mansion's guards advert their eyes to give the couple some privacy, but that doesn't stop the slight eye rolling and amused grins they're shooting each other.

Cascata allows the two a moment before she walks over, all smiles.

"Who's this beautiful lady, Flash?" she asks, grinning at Salacia. The queen blushes and bows her head respectfully.

"Queen Salacia of Anarlina," she said. Cascata looked surprised a moment, then returned the gesture. "You are.. Cascata?"

"Mother of Ronduin, aye," the other woman says. "I'm here to visit with Lya, but I'd love to meet with you more as well."

"That'd be lovely," Salacia agreed, but her eyes flick between Cascata and Flash nervously.

Flash takes Salacia's hand and squeezes it reassuringly. "Sounds like a good idea to me, dear," he tells her.

"I have a long chat with Lya," Cascata informs them. "Flash, I hope to see you later as well." Giggling like an excited child, Cascata hurried off to go find her fellow ruler-friend.

"She seems nice," Salacia said carefully.

"I think so," Flash replies, smiling. "She's a good friend." Hugging his sweetheart, Flash adds, "You have no idea how much I've missed you, dearest."
