Arngrim and Darin traded blow for blow. Where Arngrim would attack with a left to the gut, Darin would return a right to his jaw. It had been a while since either of them had a good fight, so they did intend to get their money's worth out of this.
Lawfer watches the fight and replies to Pandora, "I can try, but I don't think he'll listen. I'm just worried that he might get cornered."
Throwing a sharp elbow to Arngrim's side, Darin gained the advantaged and preceded to barrage the rival mercenary with fierce attacks. Darin grabbed hold of Arngrim and drove the brute's head toward his knee, effectively knocking him on his butt. "Now, are you going to come with us peacefully?"
Arngrim grits his teeth in anger and reaches for his blade. Lawfer's eyes cut towards his partner and he shouts, "Stop it Arngrim! We did it, so we have to face up to it. There is no need for that."
"Shut up Lawfer, it was a job and it isn't my damn fault the forces fought each other. I'm not taking responsibility for any of this. I'm gonna run this bastard through, then his stupid woman and we're leaving Maelstrom!"
Darin glares at Arngrim now, he didn't mind being hated for kicking the guy's ass, but no one would be laying a hand on Pandora. "Sorry Pandora, we're only getting half price for this job, this guy isn't leaving Maelstrom outside of a casket." Darin doesn't look back at her as he talks, neither does he smirk, he only draws his sword and prepares to take Arngrim out.
"Arngrim," Lawfer pleaded. "Let's just go with them, the priests aren't going to hurt us. She said the guy was pretty reasonable."
"No deal," Arngrim replies as he stands up and draws his sword. "I already have to deal with whatever the forces do when we die, I'm not letting those priests decide either."
Lawfer fiddles with the throwing knives he had in his pouch, "Arngrim I intend to take responsibility for what we did, I'm not going to fight with you.."
