Salvador marched through the frozen wastes towards the capital city, he learned his lesson to bundle up the first time he tried this. While the cold doesn't bother him in his state, when walking becomes impossible he needs to keep his joints warm. So furs it is, although it really isn't becoming of his physique.

He heard from his best friend that Efil needs help from Taed fixing a problem. Or something like that, he didn't quite get the details, but whatever will make Christian happy with him.

"I can see the boss's face now," he switched his voice to sound as much like Christian as he possibly could, "for excellence in service to his Deathliness Taed, I hereby give you the highest award in my power, the title of 'best friend forever.'"

Best friend forever! The thought of it was enough to make what would have been his blood boil. He made a dash towards the city, knowing he needed to find the Khelek high priest of Efil as fast as he could. He found whoever he could in the streets and grabbed their attention with a friendly wave and a shout of "Where can I find the temple to Efil?"

The individual he'd gotten the eye of leered mistrustfully at Salvador, though the expression warred a little with a touch of fear. He wordlessly pointed towards the temple buildings off to the west, lip curling a bit to show that he didn't think the outsider was worth even giving words to.

Salvador, excited by the prompt response skipped off in the direction the man pointed. He even gave him some sort of upside down smirk, it is always good to be confident about your answers. He arrived to his goal and found whoever crossed his vision first.

"Hellooooooooo, I'm looking for the high priest! I want to help you all out."

He flashed his toothiest grin, quite pleased with himself for coming all this way. He even pulls out one of his favorite drink that he keeps with him in bottles around his waist. He placed it against his lips only to find that it was frozen and didn't flow. This was awfully disappointing, he will have to place it near a fire for a while.

"Head priest," the priest, a man clothed in white and gold robes, corrected gently. Apollin smiled at Salvador, a little surprised at his demeanor. Outsider Taedean, he thought, then inwardly flinched. Listen to me--outsider. I'm certainly integrating quickly. I wonder where he's from. "And there is a head priest for each Force. If you were talking about the priest-representative, however, that would be Llewellyn. He resides in the Etafian wing."

Salvador looked at the man quizzically, not knowing quite how to respond to the correction. In the end he decided the man could only be speaking of one thing, so took his pointer finger and poked himself in the forehead. The poor man must be blind, although that may just improve his faith.

"It's right here, and I am so sorry for your loss."

Anyway, informing blind priests of his body parts wasn't why he was here, he wanted to see an important priest of Efil. All this talk of Etaf was a clever way of throwing him from his path, but he was too wily for it.

"No no, Etaf doesn't need my help, I need to see Efil. That is what my boss says at least."

Apollin gave Salvador a strange look at his comment. "Er, right. The Head Priest of Efil here is Lina. The Efilian wing is over there." He gestured towards the proper wing.

The pries to Taed clapped his hands happily now that he was finally getting somewhere. He gave the man he was talking to a wave and jogged briskly down the Efilian wing. Lina was an easy name to remember.

"Liiiiiiina! I have a question for you!"

He wonders if they will have troubles with him yelling in here. All his brothers and sisters always tell him to stop yelling, and running, and juggling holy relics, and any other things any sane person would call fun. So, if Efil is the opposite, they will love it around here.

The priests flinched at the shouting, glowering at him. Somewhere, a baby wailed.

A short woman with long red hair, Efilian robes, and stormy blue eyes marched over to him with a scowl. "Keep your voice down," she told him sharply. "Who are you and what is it that you want, Taedean?"

Salvador stopped in his tracks when he met the woman who spoke to him first. So prompt the people of Efil are, the dead always tend to move so slowly. He took a bottle from his belt and drank a deep swig, he never tasted it, but he felt it gave him a dramatic air of mystery.

"My name is..." Think Salvador, you need to make a good first impression so use the best Efil name you can think of, "Ernest Phillip Hartman. I have been sent by my boss to ask you a question, and then help. Or help and then question, I'm not sure but one is definitely shorter then the other."

He searches through his robes after he asks his question until he produces a small rolled up sheet of paper. It has seen a lot of love since it was written and was now more smashed flat then it was rolled up.

Lina narrowed her eyes at Salvador. She really didn't care for this man. Well, the sooner she got whatever it was he wanted out of the way, the sooner he could leave. "What is your question?" she asked.

"Well, you see, I'm trying to help Efil like the boss said. But, whenever they I talk to them they don't listen to me. So I wondered how to make them listen and realized that it would help to become you. So, I would like to ask how to become you?"

He took a swig of his juice and smiled a toothy smile in hopes of looking especially endearing. He also holds out his bottle of juice as if to offer her a sip. It is only fair that he shares this with everyone, as he suspects it tastes very good.

Lina glanced at the proffered juice and shook her head, trying not to grimace. "Sir, that made no sense," she sighed. "Become me? And help Efil how? And who, pray tell, is 'they' that you speak of? I can't assist you if I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Well, they is your people in your fancy pants robes of Efil. Always to busy for old Ernest Phil they are. Won't even stop to say hello, honestly you are one of the first."

She asks an awful lot of questions, he only has forever. Seriously, how can he help these people if they are going to be so obstinate?

"In order for them to listen, I need to be you... high priest of Efil for the Khelek Chrystallands, uh, th-third district? Damn, getting the position doesn't require a test does it? What does it take? Prayer, Talent Show... ritualistic fight to the death... Marbles?"

He is so good at marbles, and he knows Efil is all for putting balls into specific spots. Although if she is the head of the third district she must be pretty good as well. It will definitely be a match between polished rock pushing titans.

"Head priest," Lina corrected, as Apollin had. "The High Priest is in Acoia. Those of us who are in charge of our respective faiths in the other lands are called head priests." She shook her head. "It's a position appointed by the High Priest from Acoia. Generally he picks whoever in the area has the most seniority but other things can sway the choice. Why?" She gave him an odd look. "Are you thinking of converting?"

Converting... that means that he turns into a Efilite. That isn't what he wants to do, he wants those people to listen to him as if he were. If he was Head Priest of Efil in Khelek, along with being loyal to Taed he could definitely help out his friend as much as possible.

"Ummm... perhaps? I suppose you can call it whatever you want." He reaches into a slit on his robes that allows him to access his interior pockets, "You call it toe-may-to, I call it an execution..."

As fast as his lifeless bones could move he pulls a knife from under his robes and lunges forward to plunge it into what he hopes is a hapless priestess. It always sucks to have them fight back, especially if their friends overcome their shock to help them.
