Taed's Warning Pt.2|Neo'anar, New Anarlina

[Devon]

Christian arrived in Anarlina again with his two Scythe guards in tow. Sending one off to the temple to start preparations early, he and the other Scythe approached the castle of Anarlina.

Christian looked to the guard at the castle and introduced himself. "I'm the High Priest of Athrug, Christian. I come bearing a message for the King and Queen."

[Kender Bard]

The guard bowed his head respectfully to Christian. "Please wait here while we inform their Majesties," he said, and the second guard hastened off to do just that. He was a quick sprinter--a Wind. Before long, the guard returned. "His Majesty the king will speak with you," the Wind guard informed Christian. "Please come with us."

Even as he spoke, he made a sign in the air towards the other set of guards within sight and one of them hurried off to get some of the royal guard to provide escort.

[Devon]

Christian nodded and followed his escort in Anarlina to meet the King of Anarlina. He'd once again try to keep it brief here, he hoped this King wouldn't take his warning lightly.

[Kender Bard]

The guards brought Christian to a meeting room. Twilight rarely met with guests in the throne room, as it was usually hosting people. With a respectful bow, Twilight greeted Christian, "Welcome to Anarlina, High Priest. To what do we owe the honor?"

[Devon]

"I've come to deliver a warning your majesty," Christian said to Twilight as he gave the man a bow. "Recently there have been more births, spring came early, and people are really feeling life. This is because Efil gave herself to the world. Unfortunately even this act of hers won't stay sweet for long..during the fall and winter the creatures and monsters of our world will run wild," Christian told the king.

[Kender Bard]

Twilight blinked in surprise at this news. "You said Efil gave herself to the world... what do you mean? And why would this-- no nevermind I think I can figure that part out... Do you have any recommendations as to what to do?"

He had his own ideas of course but he wanted to hear the man out.

[Devon]

"My lord and master has seen fit to help defend our world when this happens in the fall," Christian said. "As such I'm increasing the presence of Scythes, Taed's warriors, in each temple in the nations. As for Efil, that is just how Taed explained it to me."

[Kender Bard]

"Well, thank you," Twilight murmured. He'd have to speak with Snowflake about the new... additions though and see how she felt about it. "You must be weary from your journeying though. I'll have a guest room made up for you."

[Devon]

Christian was tired, he just wanted to keep moving which his two guards had always urged against. Sighing he nodded his head, "I'd appreciate it. I'd also like to go and see your temple, visit the other followers of Taed and maybe talk to some of the different priests there."

[Kender Bard]

"I'd expect as much," Twilight chuckled. "If you like, while your room is being prepared, I can escort you to the temple and introduce you to my sister first, High Priestess of Love Snowflake."

[Devon]

"I'd like that," Christian replied to the King of Anarlina. "Shall we go now?" he asked, ready to get to the temple to have a look around.

[Kender Bard]

"Aye, of course," Twilight remarked. It'd be a bit of a surprise for his sister, unfortunately, but none of the guards in his current entourage were Minds.

Oh well, that's just something you learn to deal with as a Flamehart.

"The Temple of Love," Twilight proclaimed as he strode into the building. It was a very short walk from the palace. "Would you mind waiting here while I fetch her? I'm sure she's somewhere around here but I'd rather not interrupt her if she's mid-sermon."

[Devon]

Christian nodded his head as he looked around the part of the temple he was in. "Of course I don't mind," he told the king.

[Kender Bard]

Twilight broke off to go ask after his sister. As he suspected, she was in her office, helping another priest get his sermon-notes in order. Knocking on the door frame, he smiled as she glanced up at him. "I hate to interrupt but there's a very important guest who I want to introduce--High Priest of Taed."

"Oh!" Snowflake exclaimed. The other priest bobbed his head, gathered up his notes, and removed himself from the room. "Whatever has he come here for? Not that I'm not pleased."

"I'll tell you later," Twilight told her. "It's not good news but it's not urgent either."

"Well all right," Snowflake mumbled and followed him back to the central chamber downstairs. Snowflake walked over and curtsied to Christian. "High Priest, it is a pleasure to meet you. I'm Snowflake."

[Devon]

Christian bowed to the High Priestess of Love as she came out to greet him. "Nice to meet you as well, I'm Christian," he said.

Not being one to waste much time with idle chatter he got right to the point. "As I already told the King, due to Efil's giving herself to the world, flowers have bloomed earlier, and births have been on the rise. But in the Fall and Winter months attacks from creatures and monsters of Naruta will rise dramatically as well. My Lord has saw fit for me to warn the other nations of this threat and to also increase the presence of Taed's Scythes in the temples to assist with the defense or our lands."
