Spreading the Love|Clan Poldora, Beastlands

[Devon]

Back in Anarlina Eros was busy with his daily chores in the temple when he was suddenly plucked from there and dropped into the Beastlands. He was used to this by now and was thankful this time he wasn't half naked. Looking around he didn't recognize where he was, thinking it was either Naurorod or the Beastlands. Eros knew why he was hear, sort of, as Soahc's multi-colored crow he had certain duties to attend to, such as randomly dusting unsuspecting people to induce either love or lust for Soahc's amusement.

Getting his bearings and a since of direction, Eros walked off to the north, in search of good prospects.

[Kender Bard]

Thavan wasn't too far away, in fact. The Beast Leader was mostly off for a stroll as he considered other things. He thought better when on the move, and sometimes when alone. He'd decided to strike out on his own for a bit. He didn't go too far, though. The last thing he wanted was to be captured again or injured beyond help.

[Devon]

Eros eventually spotted Thavan, glad to see another face. Observing the man he didn't think he looked like a Beast, but it didn't seem to be Naurorod either. Walking over to the man Eros called out, "Hello there!? Can you tell me where I am? I'm a little lost."

[Kender Bard]

As soon as Eros had managed to get out "Hello", Thavan had whirled around, pulling his bow and an arrow together and aiming it swiftly. His hair started to stand up on end a little. "Who are you and where did you come from?" Thavan demanded.

[Devon]

"Eros Cassanova, priest of Love from Anarlina," he answered quickly as he gulped down a bit of shock. "No need for the bow, I'm unarmed. I was traveling with a caravan and well its embarrassing, but I had to relieve myself and strayed too far from the group. Next thing I knew, I had no idea where I was," he lied.

[Kender Bard]

Thavan rolled his eyes at that and lowered the point of his arrow, though he didn't completely let go of it. "How long ago did they leave you?" Thavan asked. If it hadn't been long, then he reasoned he could help the man catch up or at least get within sight of the caravan.

[Devon]

"That was a few days ago," Eros said as he lied further. "I'm a bit of a dreamer and well, something caught my attention when I was lost and I wandered very far."

[Kender Bard]

Thavan frowned and the tip of his arrow came back up a fraction. He knew some people could be very absentminded, but that sounded a little fishy. "Where were you and yours headed to?" he asked.

[Devon]

"Mount Humontis," Eros answered once again putting his hands up. "We were going to do a bit of preaching about Love...you know that arrow is awfully scary, perhaps you could put it down and we could talk of Love as well."

[Kender Bard]

Love, isn't that Anarlinan? Thavan lowered his bow again as he considered Eros's robes. The black and white had led him to believe that he was strictly Soahcian but wasn't white the color of Love as well? He looked closer and noticed now the sun-sign of Anarlina. Must be of Love as well.

Of course he could always be lying but Thavan felt a little more at ease. This time he did lower the bow completely. "Do you always get so lost?" he asked with a shake of his head.

[Devon]

"No, not too often," Eros replied, hating to have to appear as a bit of a dunce to conceal how he really got here. "I must admit of all the places to end up lost this is a good one. I know the Beastlands offer a few herbs that don't grow in Anarlina and I am a bit of an herbalist myself."

[Kender Bard]

"It's also incredibly dangerous to the unwary," Thavan warned. But the comment of herbalism had intrigued him. "However, you're right. If you'd like to do trade with some of our herbalists, you're more than welcome to."

[Devon]

"Oh that would be great," Eros replied, he was genuinely interested in the herbs that the Beastlands had to offer to him. "Where can I go and take a look at the different herbs?"

[Kender Bard]

"You'll have to come back to Poldora with me," Thavan remarked. "We have plenty there that you can look at. If you want to look in the wild... well I'm not the person to be asking. I'm not an herbalist. I just know what not to eat and what to eat if I get out here and can't make it back home in time for dinner."

[Devon]

"Can we go to Poldora now?" Eros asked. If he could get to a village in the Beastlands he'd be better able to perform his task for Soahc. Who knows, he might run across a pretty fawn affinity that he wanted to woo or dust in his case.
