"all right." She wrote the names down and shifted through some papers on her desk. "There is a shop I would like you two to work out of." She stood. "I'm actually on my way down there now if you want to tag along?"
"Well, if you don't require a large amount of living space, I would suppose there is enough room to live in the back of the shop. Things are just getting off the ground so I'm still getting things set up. I'm sure we can make some living space though so you dont' have to worry about staying at an Inn."
She moved around her desk and grabbed her bad putting some papers in it, and put on a light cloak over her outfit.
"This way please."
As they traveled along, she took them through most of Obsedian, and into the more run down area's.
Finally the arrived at a shop that wasn't in it's best shape, but wasn't the worst ever either. "I'm not completely done restoring it, but the clams are working, and I have managed to pull together a fair amount of tools. " She motioned for them to enter. "Please look around and tell me if there is anything you would require to get started."
Before they left the office, they assured her that small living quarters were really no issue at all, in fact, they had been quite used to them before leaving Humontis. After they started walking, they fell silent just observing the areas as they went, mentally noting things.
When they got to the shop, Kori whistled softly and Kaleb blinked. It was a little ramshackle, but nothing that couldn't be fixed.
"Oh, it's no problem," Kori said as Kaleb began to look about. "We brought a whole bunch of our tools, we just need to retrieve them from the guardhouse at the gate."

Layla nodded. "When you, your first task is get this place in a working order. Once that is done, I'm sure there are several workers in need to tools and support objects for buildings. If you have questions or need to speak with me, I'm usually around here during most of the day. Otherwise if for some reason I'm not, you can find me at my office." She looked around at some of the others setting up shop. "Good day and good luck." She smiled and then turned on her heels to walk else where among the starting construction.
They shrugged and set to work cleaning the place up. It took several hours to get things even remotely they way they wanted, but, it was done.
After that, Kori went out to the guardhouse to collect what they had brought while Kaleb remained behind to tinker with the forge. The door to the place was wide open, inviting any who wished to check it out to come and look.
Both of them were there and the place look great! as compared to their dirty faces and clothing. Wiping a bit of sweat from his forehead, Kaleb approached and bowed a bit in respect. "Ah, Senator Layla, good to see you. Been busy yourself?" he asked, and then moved on, for the answer was obvious. "We've got this place practically up and running now..." he paused and Kori gave a muffled shout and two very bright red creatures skittered over and stopped at Layla's feet.
They each looked up at her, chittering away in what could only be a friendly manner.
