Schuldig was giving his friends a running commentary on all of the leaders as they passed by. ~Well, I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing Anarlina's queen coming back around.~
~Drop it, Schuldig,~ Crawford told him, keeping his eyes fixed on the room in front of him.
~Who does she think SHE is? She's not even a leader herself, she only married one, and not that long ago, either.~
~I'm sure it's well-meant.~
~Feh. She's been spoiling for a fight since she got here anyway. 'Was my husband not invited because he's a Clear? Blah blah.' He probably was and just didn't want to go himself. Khelek's probably one of the places he'd be most welcome anyway, seeing as how what's-his-name sided with the Clears during that war.~
~Jokull,~ Nagi said absently.
~Huh?~
~Jokull was the Master that allied with the Clea--was she going to touch my face?~ Nagi wondered "aloud" as Aueril passed them by.
~You do look very young,~ Farfarello pointed out.
Nagi sighed inwardly as he nodded now to the Earth leader and quietly thanked her, knowing that was true enough. Maybe he'd finally look eighteen when he hit around Schuldig's age.
Shadow made him feel rather uncomfortable with how stiff he acted. Nagi was accustomed to Crawford's manner, but he'd known Crawford for several years. The new prince couldn't help but wonder if Caelium's King was giving some sort of subtle insult to the pair of them.
~Someone's got a stick up his ass,~ Schuldig observed, then paused. ~Then again, maybe not.~
The telepath chuckled mentally at Shadow's comment to Arturia, the "sound" seeming to vibrate in Nagi's head, making the young man bit his tongue to keep a straight face. There was no real sensation there, he knew; he wasn't being touched at all, but Schu had a knack for making mental laughter almost tickle when he felt like it.
~After that,~ Crawford interjected, ~I'm not altogether certain King Brightmore does subtle insults.~
~Oh,~ Schuldig projected to Shadow, ~is the use of silk in riding gear a southern Narutan custom? I didn't realise it was such an... inexpensive fabric to the south.~
