Those with the least amount of leadership positions already will be given higher priority than those that do. Please be aware that chosen candidates will, if applicable, be put into an "election thread" where they give a speech on why they should be the Humontis leader, much akin to the Morilanta election. If only one person who volunteers is applicable, then they will automatically be given the position.

[/li][li]Clothing:[/i] Her teaching outfit consists of a white blouse and a wide, pleated blue skirt. She will often wear a blue ribbon in her hair or around her neck. Casual clothing varies, but will almost always be in shades of blues, greens and paired with white.

Arturia stepped up to the small podium, taking her skirt and doing a small curtsy to the people who stood in front of her. There were a great many of them, but she was not nervous in the least. After a moment, she began to speak, and as she spoke a soft pink touched her cheeks.

"My people, I would like to take a moment right now to reflect on who our past Leader of Humontis was. River was a man of integrity. He cared greatly for this city, and for her people. He loved his jobs and treated all of you kindly. To those he interacted with on a daily basis, they knew him, and knew he did all that he could to protect this wonderful place.

Humontis, a city of great beauty, great knowledge and even greater people. All of us here, we know that which is best. How to pull together and protect ourselves, but also how to have fun, and to relax and look at life from a bigger picture," she paused to smile out at all of them.

"I, Arturia Lancet would be greatly honored if the position of the leadership is given to me. If you, the people, choose me to lead you I can promise that I will do my best to follow in River's footsteps. No, I promise to you that I will not only follow in River's wake, but I shall surpase him and do everything in my power to serve and protect this beautiful place, and you wonderful people, and, hopefully, make us even greater then before!"

Leif meandered up to the podium after Arturia had left, having only half paid attention to what the woman was speaking of. It seemed like they were having an open forum of some sort in Humontis today, so the tall redhead decided to speak his piece. Looking out across the crowd, Leif said but two sentences--his own personal philosophy.

"People of Humontis, be excellent to each other. And...party on, dudes!" With that, the bard quit the stage and suck his pipe between his teeth, lighting it on his way out.
