With that, he turned and left, heading out of the palace to go home. There really wasn't anyone he could talk to there about what was bothering him (aside from hating to have had to make such a choice). He knew Zack, and he knew that the bard wouldn't do anything but beat himself up if he showed up and told Zack that he and Kleio had split up because he loved Zack more than Kleio. It was one of Zack's rules - never take a friend's lover.
Maybe Kleio was the best off of the three of them, after all.
