Enforced Reunion|New Morilanta

[Kender Bard]

Andromeda creeped around the edges of Morilanta. It'd taken her and Arcan a long while to finally locate the new city but they had once Arcan had finally told Andromeda the details pertaining to Tevran. Now they were looking for some way into the city.

The walls of the city had guards stationed regularly with occasional switching of the guards. At one point they find a part of the wall with only one guard who seems to be taking advantage of being alone and begins to doze off.

[Kender Bard]

Andromeda presses a finger to her lips and touches her wind sign, activating it, quieting the passage of both herself and Arcan as the two creep past the dozing guard and into the city.

Arcan peered around, wondering if their shabby, flimsy rags would pass for clothes in the city. But they weren't dressed any worse than the slaves shuffling by.

Once in safer area, Andromeda lifted the sound dampener. "Where do we begin?"

"Nowhere," Arcan muttered sulkily. He didn't want to be here.

"I can see you're going to be no help," Andromeda growled and turned her eyes to Nissar Manor. "That's the fanciest place. Let's go there."

Arcan heaves a sigh but stops his complaints and follows his mother as the two approach the manor.

[tuo]

A couple of guards spot the two and call out. "Halt! What are you doing here and not working scum?!"

[Kender Bard]

Arcan starts to growl deeply and advance but Andromeda subtly moves in front of him.

She flashes the guards a nasty grin. "We do have a job. We're here to give a message. It's for Nissar probably but we're ordered to give it to one of his underlings."

[tuo]

The guards eye each other warily. "Is the Imperietor(SP?) or one of his agent's expecting this message..?"

[Kender Bard]

Andromeda wrinkles her nose. "They better, or else I'm going to have to do more runs." She hopes her bitching sounds genuine of any hardworking peon.

[tuo]

The guards shift and murmur to each other. After a few moments they decide neither one of them wants to take the blame if she is telling the truth...and if she is lying they can always just claim she was supposed to be a whore.

One turns to her. "Fine all right, just hurry up."

[Kender Bard]

With a look of satisfaction she took Arcan's hand and hurried on inside.

"Don't leave me," she instructed Arcan. The man just grunted and let himself be pulled along like a petulant child.

[tuo]

Inside the manor, other slaves and officials are working on whatever work they are supposed to do. Eventually a man who seems to just be lounging against the wall keeping an eye on everybody looks at them. "And what are you two supposed to be doing?"

[Kender Bard]

"Delivering a message," Andromeda said very quickly. "To Te-"

Arcan dug his 'claws' into her a little to startle her into silence. "A message to be given to Wild Fire. He'll likely take it to Nissar. Where is he?"

[tuo]

The man raises an eyebrow. "Freaking peasants..just walk in here and...fine whatever." He gives quick description of where he can be found.

[Kender Bard]

Andromeda give a little bobbing bow, pulling Arcan's claws out of her skin and holding him by the wrist, hurrying onward, eager to see her eldest son.

[tuo]

When they approached Wild fire's door, it was open and Tevran was sitting in there in the corner with his wings wrapped around him.

[Kender Bard]

"Tevran," Andromeda called out, peeking around the doorway, keeping one of her wings spread and dangling to obscure sight of Arcan for now - and of Tevran from Arcan. The younger son was still upset.
