(First post; really have no idea what I'm going for here. Will eventually be leaving Ilyamen for Humontis. Have something interesting happen, anyone can join. :D)
Blinking in the sunlight, Kura steps out of the building of the herbalists' guild, looking around at an area that is still less than familiar. Though he has passed through Ilyamen before, it has been quite some time since he last set foot within its boundaries, and to his displeasure he has been prone to getting lost during this visit.
"That was the last of it, right?" Suddenly standing on the threshold beside him, Faith indicates the bag slung over Kura's shoulder. Made of dark green cloth with a stylized leaf emblazoned on the front, the bag until recently had held a sizable portion of the wares of Kura's employer, Briar. As of today, the last of the herbs and oils had been sold.
"Yeah." Kura starts forward, now sure of his bearings, heading for the marketplace. He smiles over his shoulder. "We can set off tomorrow, and you'll be home in no time."
Faith scans the street before them before following, warily eyeing two passing Water elementals. This city, with its many differently-signed inhabitants, still sets her on her guard. She would have felt less tense in a place more uniformly populated -- preferably with Storm signs. Still with a watchful eye, she keeps Kura within her sights, though being careful not to get too close. Better for any passing Storms not to think she associated with those of lesser elements.

Concealed beneath a tent-flap, Makoto sat on a discarded crate, hungrily devouring the last of a piece of fish before licking his fingers clean. He had briefly considered stealing some food from one of the many market stalls surrounding him, but had decided against the idea, as there seemed to be an unusual number of guards pacing among the tents today; besides, Kura had given him enough money to purchase lunch.
Sighing, he props his chin in his hands. "I'm bored. What should we do now, Sai?"
Crouching in a shadow near the boy's feet, the red fox finishes off his share of the fish and looks up at the boy. *Something that will keep you out of trouble. Your brother will be looking for you soon.*
"I can take care of myself." Rolling his eyes, Makoto jumps to his feet and pushes the tent flap aside. Sai leaps out after him, and the two stroll among the stalls, examining the goods for sale and being examined right back.
