A small group of people traveled along towards Talensul. Dreamwarp, Adam, Drake..and a random servant/slave whose name doesnt matter.

Adam was grinning as he ran back and forth, trying to catch small animals or to get a better look at the surroundings. "This is amazing! The ground still hasnt moved and it's still really bright!"

Drake grumbles as he pulls his hood lower. "We know, now stop running around before you make me dizzy. This light and all the rest of it is bad enough without you chasing it.."

[Kender Bard]

((lol... "whose name doesn't matter" *amused*))

Dreamwarp sympathised with Drake. Native-born Fluxians usually found so much light disorienting at best, downright painful normally. She'd made a firm stand that both boys wear acolyte robes with hoods and to keep as covered up as they could, despite it being the tail of summer. It was cooling down, but not enough. Not to mention the robes were black. In the spirit of compromise, she'd offered to don hers as well, so she would suffer with them on that score. She really wished now she hadn't.

"Okay boys, come closer," she bade them. "We're almost to the gates. You're not going to talk to anyone, take anything, touch anything unless I give you strict permission to do so. But I do want you to observe them and everything around you. Study these people - we're going to be discussing their life as opposed to our own philisophically. If anyone tries to hurt you, try not to kill them, but by all means defend yourself. Or call for me." She reached out to fuss with Adam. "You can show your sign openly if you wish. You are a Wind, and this is their homeland. Drake, try not to flaunt yours. I don't know the relationship between Winds and Fires."

She pulled out a strip of cloth and covered her storm sign up. "Ready?"

Adam grinned as he walked over to Dreamwarp. "Okay mistress Dreamwarp. But what if we see some people who want something? Could I offer them something?"

Drake rolled his eyes and moved closer to Dreamwarp as well. "Whatever, there just better be some shade in there. And for this occasion..i'll try not to start any problems. No promises though."

[Kender Bard]

"Like I expect anything more than that from you," Dreamwarp snorted. She let her hood down so she could at least get her hair off her neck. Grabbing both their hands she led them to the gates.

"Good evening sir," she purred to the guard. The guard looked at them warily.

"Flux priests?" he hazarded. "Not often any others of Soahc come this far north."

"You would be correct," Dreamwarp affirmed with a radiant smile.

"Don't cause any trouble," the guard growled, but fidgeted quite nervously. Dreamwarp smirked and pulled the two along, heading for something that passed as a city square. "What do you boys see?" The people around them passed them by, either with a wary glance, an outright glare, but mostly with indifference.

Adam looked around with that grin still on his face. "Wow...the buildings..they arent rubble and the streets arent broken! And it's bright here too and people arent getting mugged." Overall, Adam was finding this trip to be both enjoyable and enlightening.

Drake grumped and looked around a bit before answering. "Well..people dont seem to like us much."

[Kender Bard]

Dreamwarp nodded somberly to Drake. "Not many people care for followers of Soahc. We are unpredictable at best; wild and crazy at worst. Though, I would say it is the other way around. Goes to show how much I've been corrupted." She looped an arm in Adam's to keep him from walking off.

Adam blinked as he felt a small tug on his arm and looked down at what prevented him from wandering off. "Oh..sorry Dreamwarp." He grinned sheepishly and calmed himself.

Drake shrugs. "Whatever, so what else are we supposed to do?"

Dreamwarp pet Adam's head, amused, as she spoke to Drake. "Beyond my restrictions, whatever you like. If you two get hungry, let me know and we'll go buy something to eat. Otherwise we could sight-see. I think this is one of the nations boasting a bardic guild. There's also Lady Lya's little palace."

Adam grinned. "I'd like to visit the bard guild. It sounds neat. Where is it?" He started to look around, standing on tippy toes to try and get a higher view point.

Drake simply shrugged. "Whatever, the sooner we get out of this sun light the better.."

Acqua was enjoying herself as she roamed the city. Alethia had insisted that she go with one of Talon's friends for protection, but Acqua had rapidly grown tired of being baby-sat and had lost the man in several crowds. Alethia would no doubt have some choice words for Acqua when she returned but, For now I'll enjoy a bit of freedom.

Aimless wandering leads Acqua into the same street as the three from Flux. At the sight of the black robes, Acqua goes white and makes an odd noise somewhere between a squeak and a whimper as she stares at them.

As Adam was looking around, he noticed a girl looking there direction who didnt look very healthy if the pale skin was any indication. He poked Dreamwarp's arm. "Hey, am I allowed to go talk to that girl over there? She doesnt look too good." He points over to Acqua to indicate the girl in question.

Drake casually glances over to Acqua as Adam points her out but dismisses her.

Dreamwarp glanced over and shrugged. "Very well, I give you permission," she stated. She turned her attention back to Drake, adjusting his hood. "You get used to the sun, you know. In time. But let me know if you start feeling dizzy or sick."
