Maelstrom's gates are closed, sealing off all entrances and exits to the city. Those who live in the surrounding villagers have been ordered to remain in their homes. Over the next few days guards will make their presence felt in those villages. Watch this post for more details.
No outsiders are permitted into the city now and those inside the city have no choice but to support their new Leader. Those known to support Shadow are being hunted down, with public hangings scheduled in the next few days.
