Ajil finally decided that the time has come, the orginization of this town could only hold up for so long with the changes from the outside. After the leadership fell things have went fine with the idea of everybody helping everybody else. Civil War, envoys going in and out, the absence of Damien. The fire people will need a full council and soon. It was on this day she wished to present herself to the cities council.

"Now is the time for us to change so we will not be engulfed by the changes that are going on all around us. I would like to begin by setting up a new leadership, one that can be trusted by the other clans. I would like to take this position, albeit I am a woman I do believe I have the skills necessary to bridge the gap into the new era. We at Lhach Linnod can finally have a voice so we aren't overlooked."

She was pleading with all those present to hear her. She thought about just electing herself as representative since the gap was open, but she felt she would be soon displaced due to the fact she was female. She wanted to capture the hearts and minds of the clan, make them know she is serious. She is playing the fact that her contributions are as much as any other man that has been here, and that she shows such resolve for her people.

(OOC: start with a special thank you to Kender for approving this idea o' mine, this post is just to make it official to me, of course other players are always great though ^_^.)

Ajil sat down after a long day of debating, eventually it was agreed upon that leadership was needed and for being the one that was taking charge in the matter she was given it. A very stern look by the council told her she was on thin ice. She immediately set to forming the hierarchy, filling positions as necessary. Sending out an official writ making her husband in charge during her absences. She looked at the military roster and simply sighed, defeated at least to the end she knew that nothing would be built in a single day. She closed her eyes and rotated in her chair while humming a simple song until she got an idea. She shot a look to her husband along with a mischievious grin.

"Whatever you are thinking Ajil, no, that look has gotten me in trouble before." He said with a half laugh, even though his serious was very serious.

"Awww, I just want to take a little field trip to make everything official with the powers that be, it would be good for you to get a taste of management early in the process," She walked up to him and shot him a sly look over her shoulder, "besides, we can celebrate my promotion when I return."

"You always know the right things to say don't you?" This was all he replied with, knowing there was no way he was going to win against her.

"Just don't burn down the town while I'm gone, get nana to look after the children. I am going to clan Char, that seems to be where all the fun happens anyway."

She waves to him over her back while taking a pile of papers with her she is going to post on the bulliten board outside of the town hall. After everything is ready she takes a traveling cowl and a heavy distaff to defend herself against the desert. She asks one of the town guides as to where the clan would have migrated to this time of year and after some simple instructions she was off.
