Spreading the word.|Haven, Ilyamen

Two people tiredly walk towards the city of Illyamen. "Look Allura..we made it.." Seron grins weakly. "Gotta admit..I was worried there for a bit.."

[Kender Bard]

Allura put her arms around Seron to support him, though she felt ready to drop herself. "Aye, and a blessing it is that we made it. Do you know anything about the priests in Ilyamen, my love?" It still gave her shivers to say that. "Mayhaps we can stay with them."

[iamtuo]

Seron cant help but grin at being called that from Allura. He has his arms around her as well to help support her. "That sounds like a good idea to me..but no I dont know much in paticular about them."

[Kender Bard]

"Let's go investigate then," she advised. "And I suggest we separate, and appeal to our respective priest-fellows, just to avoid any problems of bias. Agreed?"

[iamtuo]

Seron nods reluctently. "Very well..I suppose our 'punishment' takes precedence over rest. Fare well love." He grins and gives Allura a quick kiss while nobody is around.

[Kender Bard]

Allura blushed crimson and kissed him back, gingerly, but drew away with modest haste and hurried into the temple when she spotted it, swiftly working her way to the quarters dedicated to Efil.

Looking around, she called out hesitantly, "Hello? Brother and sisters of the faith?"

[adris]

One of the priestesses came up and lightly pulled Allura to the side. Her voice was hushed, albeit still audible. There was obviously something important going on with the other brother and sister's of thier cloth.

"We have been dedicating ourselves to the revival of the head priest as of late. So far our prayers have went unanswered but we feel that we are staving off the worst of things. Sorry for sounding so rude sister, what is it you need?"

She tried to sound pleasent, a spring in her voice accompanied by her hope. Perhaps all it will take right now to make it through this disaster is a bit of hope.

[Kender Bard]

Allura blinked confusedly a moment, then gave an understanding nod. "Oh. Aye. Yes, that's the problem we had in Humontis as well. Truth be told, I am here with a brother of cloth, a follower of Soahc. We're seeking a place to stay as we embark on pilgrimage in the world to spread word of what he has learned about the events in the world. If you grant us roof and food for a day or two, he will tell you what it is that's wrong."

Seron meanwhile makes his way to the local temple of Soahc, hoping to find a place to rest while he informs his brothers and sisters of what has occured.

[adris]

"You're from Humontis? That is a paradise for the cloth from what I have heard. But it isn't my place to question you're intentions. Travel has been slow these days and people looking to the forces are surprisingly less, probably disenchantment." She sighs and shakes her head at thinking about the head priest and losing the faithful. After a moment she points to a door that leads into a hallway. "There are three cot rooms in there pick whichever one you like, lady Efil does not deny sanctuary."

A scrawny, pale man walks up to Seron. No words were required to see the man needed help. He gave him a raised eyebrow and spoke simply.

"Yes brother?"

Seron blinked in surpise at the mans condition but decided to get business out of the way first. "Hello brother, and I have been sent on an errand from Humontis..do you know who around here is currently in charge here at the moment?"

[adris]

The man pondered for a moment. The times were changing quickly and ha hadn't yet heard word of the recovery of the head priest, he simply shrugged that off.

"I guess at the moment we all fend for ourselves, what is it that you need?"

He waited as patiently as a good priest of Soahc chould, that is with plenty of twitching and grimicing as he tried to hold his body still.

"Very well..then I suppose I should just spread the word to any priests I find..a group of priests from another land far out over the ocean has come here and performed a ritual in the remains of Dark Cloud which has been force forsaken to 'release Evil from the hearts of men'. Has there been anything..'unusual' going on here?" Seron speaks while wondering what is wrong with this man.

[adris]

The man nodded that he would be sure to spread the news amongst the temples. He touched his finger to his chin to think about what it is that has changed.

"Religiously there is something of significance. A demon has a so called 'temple' outside the walls of the city. The tremors that we used to have seem to be fading suddenly though."

He rubs his eyes sleepily. It is obvious he has been awake for quite a while, because some of the only color on his pale body are the black rings around his eyes.

Although Seron is disturbed by the news of a demon temple, he is more worried about this man's health. "..You dont look hell, you should find a healer or at least get some sleep."
