Failure... I go back home a failure. From what I gather 'home' dosn't even exist anymore. Proud people my foot, we have all been reduced to beggers.
Omega was fuming over the mix up during his Humontis plan, the abandonment of his men... just the total loss of it all. He could hardly believe that he lacked the rescources that those five fools that started this whole mess possessed. He even contimplated ending his own life... until he saw a little personal redemption on the horizon.
Adris was wandering through these lands after a successful transport to Narudod. He wanted to see for himself the kind of fate that befell these people... knowing it was relatively safe for the Clears were defeated soundly of both body and spirit. He was swinging a small keychain... his special payment for his latest mission and the goal of his new objective. He was looking for Raina, either he would hold her next to him now or become a wanderer for life. He paused when he heard a sound on the horizon.
"You... disgust me you slime of the earth. It is your fault we are like this you know? The clears would have won if not for such a large involvement by your people... your leader must be a tactical genious, or really lucky. Either way you are further corrupting scorched ground, I cannot just let that go."
Adris turned to see it was Omega taunting him. He should have known there would be some dissent but he would just move along, no need for violence.
"I am not looking for a fight Clear, I actually come in sympathy of your people, please the war is over now we can work on peace and under-"
Omega was quick to interrupt, "PEACE?!? I believe that went out the proverbial window once you leveled Fara and declared war on my people. It will be fun the kinds of things I can do to you once you are under my influence, dirt-man."
Adris braced his trident, he wasn't walking away from this one he feared, but he would try, "I wasn't anywhere near Fara! I personally was transporting a VIP to the wind people, of whom the clears had already had open hostility with."
Omega smiled, that was as close to fighting words he needed to charge. He pulled out his second blade, allowing both the massive war knives glimmer in the faint sunlight. "You mudpeople are all the same to me," and with that he started charging as fast as his weights would allow him, Adris knew distance had to be kept.
