The wandering a lot less Wanderer|Raynham, Reave

Bremen wakes up early the next day. The sun rises into a sky clear of clouds. Bremen and Shula pack up camp and head off. Minor conversation here and there was all he could manage. Knowing that he would be at Reave by mid afternoon.

Bremen gives an inward sigh of relief to be back among the trees. Fleeting movements here and there in amongst the trees tell Bremen that he's back home, where hunting game is plentiful. A brief stop for a rest and a bit of the badger is all they were willing to take.

Bremen and Shula rise over a hill. At the top Bremen can see a clearing through the tops of the trees. The sounds of life drift over to them on the wind and the tent roofs showed here and there. The forest was still blocking most of everything, but Bremen knew that at the bottom of this hill he would see everything. They had reached Reave.

Once the reach the bottom of the hill, Bremen and Shula find themselves under the suspious gaze of a few Clears. The scout approaches a little more, trying to resist the "pull" he felt from the Clears while keeping a straight face.

"I am Shula and this is Bremen. Bremen's here to teach anyone here who's interesting in learning how to get their own food how to hunt. I'm just here if anyone needs an extra set of hands."

There is not much to Reave yet, aside from tents and Clears that don't seem to trust either of them.

Bremen looks around at all the faces. They looked just like the people in the fire clan village. Except the place had an odd odour and everyone looked like they wanted to hurt you. Bremen feels a pit open in his stomach and contemplates turning around and leaving. Instead he scolds himself and turns to Shula.

"Um. Maybe we should find the person in charge and tell him that's why we're here. These people don't look too impressed by your speech. Which isn't surprising, considering you just told them all to get up and work." He whispers to Shula. His eyes don't leave the mob of people surrounding them.

Shula nods to Bremen and says to the group.

"Do you have a leader that we could speak to and explain why we're here?"

[Kender Bard]

One of the Clears, not really answering the question, speaks up and inquires, "Are you more of those Fire types come to help? The other said there'd be more."

[aivea]

Trying not to look too openly relieved, Shula answers, "Yes, we are Fire types here to help out. Looks like Bremen and I just got here ahead of the rest, though."

[Kender Bard]

Another Clear perks up and puts in, "The other one was just about to take some 'hunters' out right now. If you want to find her she went..." They pause, then turn and point in a direction. "That way!"

Bremen looks at Shula. All these people swarming around them makes him very uncomfortable. Shula seemed to be handling things extremely well thus far, so he decided just to stand back and wait to see what the plan was. It still shocked Bremen that they looked like normal everyday people. Hard to believe how much pain they had caused over the years. Bremen felt like they should wait and see the person in charge, but thought it best to leave it up to Shula. Besides, sometimes it's better to start something straight away rather than procrastinating and putting it off until you fret about it so much that you’re too scared to even move. Bremen slaps himself mentally for doing exactly what he was trying to avoid. Bremen stops daydreaming and notices Shula's on the move. Bremen hurriedly follows before the crowd separates them.

Shula leads Bremen to where the Fire type that was organizing a group was supposed to be. Inwardly, he begins wondering who it was and if he'd recognise him. About two-thirds of Shula's attention is devoted to resisting the influence of the nearby Clears. He doesn't want to get ensnared too quickly, the scout was a little too proud to give in without a struggle. Glancing back, Shula sees that Bremen is holding up fairly well and still following.
