Anarlina was in something of an uproar with the wedding day. Everyone wanted to do something to contribute, from the nobles to the lowliest peasant. This was a day of true happiness, celebration, and national joy, and if there were two things Anarlina was good at, they were shows of patriotic support and parties. Combining the two made for quite a show.
Storefronts and houses were bedecked in gold and white (with more white than gold for this occasion). Individuals cheerfully wished one another "good blessings on this Love-filled day!" Most people seemed in jovial moods. Work was canceled in some places. Some stores closed up and others stayed open to make a profit on the day. There were several talks of private parties that would be springing up to honor the Queen and the future King.
All of the nobles gathered, with their family, in the capitol for the day. The audience-hall held the normal court goers as well as everyone else that could fit. Guards were kept on their toes trying to keep track of everyone and everything. The national Leaders, coming to visit for the wedding, found themselves in what was best described as a riot of glee.
"It's even more festive than it was the first time!" Locket enthused gleefully when she'd surveyed the scene.
Cascata was absolutely charmed by the sight. "Now this is a wedding," she told her lover with delight. She was riding in a carriage she'd hired once they'd reached Sensatia. She kept Lucid cuddled closely to herself and leaned so he could look out the carriage windows with her. Glancing at Kalian, she smirked and remarked, "It gives one ideas, does it not my love?"
In the palace proper, Emerald knocked at Dusk's door. "Hey sis," she called out. "Can I come in? I had to get out of Twi's room. It got crowded."
