[Kender Bard]

Taurus teleported right on Hawk's doorstep, then sagged for just a moment before standing up straight again and knocking. Hawk opened his door, then gave a start and stared. "Taurus?!" Taurus smiled and nodded.

Acqua giggles a little. "Hope you don't mind we came to visit," she comments with a smile. Faith merely jumps off Acqua's shoulder and walks inside, seeking a warm fire to doze by.

"Of course not!" Hawk sputters, stepping aside quickly to let them both in. "I just never thought I'd see Taurus again."
"I'm here with the Minds of Bestiamens," Taurus replied mildly, gratefully sinking into a chair to rest his feet. He wasn't used to marching in an army.
Hawk closed the door and studied them both. "Acqua, you seem tired."

Acqua just about falls into another chair. "I am a bit tired," she admits. "Seems Lord Damien and Darkstorm got into a fight about something. I wore myself out healing Damien's injuries."

[Kender Bard]

"Damien is the... Fire Leader, right?" Hawk hazards. "I'm not exactly fluent in politics. And Darkstorm... DARKSTORM!?" Hawk grows pale, as if he's seen a ghost. Taurus jumps up out of his seat in alarm.
"What is it?" he asks, worried. Hawk runs his tongue over his lips nervously.
"Darkstorm is the one that had Charminei in captivity," Hawk said in a shaky voice. "He was talking about overthrowing Shadow - I guess he managed it. He's a cruel and vicious man. Don't tell me he's the Leader of Storms now!"

Acqua frowns slightly. "I'm not sure what's going on," she admits. "I heard something about Darkstorm and some guy called Tempest sharing leadership of the Storms, but I honestly wasn't paying much attention..."

[Kender Bard]

Hawk paces fretfully in his home, muttering, "If Darkstorm is made Leader of the Storms, you can bet that after the dust settles from the Clears, he's going to make a move against someone. Most likely, Talen'sul. This is bad, very bad!"

Acqua gets up and puts a hand on Hawk's shoulder firmly to stop him pacing. Despite her own concern, her pratical, live life day to day nature won't allow her to dwell on the 'could happens'. "Hawk, we know almost nothing of what's going on right now and there's no point wearing a hole in the floor worrying about the future," she tells him quietly.

Hawk just sighs heavily, and mutters, "If you had been stuck in that village, you'd know why I was worried." Taurus winces at that, and Hawk rectifies, "Not that I would have wanted you to have been. I'm glad you two were safe."
"Well, er," Taurus mumbles, feeling the conversation getting awkward. "Do you have anything to restore Acqua strength?"
"Tea?" Hawk offers.

"That'd be nice," replies Acqua, glad of the subject change. Faith, sensing her mistress' discomfort, leaps up onto her shoulder and starts to purr. Acqua smiles and pets the cat. Glancing out the window, she murmurs with a laugh, "Amaro's probably going to want to strangle me when he finds I've disappeared again. Oh well, it's been at least a couple of days since I've annoyed him and he deserves it considering how much he's been annoying me lately."

"How so?" Taurus inquires curiously while Hawk rose to prepare the tea kettle.

Acqua glances at Taurus, blushes slightly and turns to stare out the window. "Nothing... Just Amaro being Amaro and taking advantage of a stupid idea my sister thought up..." she mumbles quietly.

[Kender Bard]

Taurus is about to ask what that would be, but his words are drowned out from the shrieking of the teapot.
"Sorry!" Hawk calls out, pouring three mugs of the steamy drink and carrying them over. "Here ya go." Taurus thanks him and takes his own mug, forgetting what he was going to ask.

Faith hisses at the noise of the teapot and leaps off Acqua's shoulder to hide under a chair. "Silly cat," laughs Acqua, greatful for the interruption. "Thanks Hawk," she says, taking her mug, blowing on it a little then sipping it before wincing slightly as she discovers it's still too hot.

Hawk blows on his own tea a bit, though Taurus just starts sipping his, apparently not minding the heat of it. "So, Acqua, what are you going to do once all of us soldiers are on the move to Ronduin?"
