[Northen Light36]

"Goodnight Hawk," replies Acqua before she starts to make her way back to the inn. Along the way, Faith dashes up and drops a dead mouse at Acqua's feet. Acqua laughs and picks her pet up. "I'm not hungry," she tells the cat and continues to the inn where Amaro, tired of waiting with Talon and Alethia, had been just about to look for her.
"There you are," he growls.
"I said I was going for a walk," Acqua replies tiredly. "No need to sound like I just ran off without a word."
"You've been gone long enough to have walked around the city three times," counters Amaro. Acqua rolls her eyes.
"Have not. And I ran into my friend, Hawk. He managed to escape from Thunderclap!"

Just then Damien enters the inn with Charanth.

Alethia tiredly stands and bows her head politely to Damien. Right now, she just wanted to sleep. Talon did the same as her, and Charanth bowed his head in reply.

Amaro stops chewing out Acqua and nods politely to Damien and Charanth. Acqua however has never been one to bother too much with rank or manners and isn't going to start now. "What happened to your arm?" she asks Charanth, nodding towards the sling.

Charanth shifts and replies, "A pack of wolves caught me in Maelstrom. We were wondering if you or your sister could fix it up."

Acqua yawns tiredly, but nods. "I'll do it," she tells him. "Take your arm out of the sling so I can see the injury better?"

Charanth winces grimly but does as he's told, unwrapping the bandages around it as well. Having so little time to heal and having been jostling it at the grueling pace on the road, it still looks raw and fresh.

Acqua cringes at the sight. "You certainly made a mess of yourself didn't you?" she mutters, before reaching up to touch her water marking with one hand while letting the other hand hover lightly over Charanth's injury and cover it in the healing water.

Though Charanth keeps a calm look on his face, he can't help it when he starts to tremble, ever so lightly.

Alethia looks at him puzzled, but he refuses to look at her or Acqua.

Guessing the reason for the Fire elemental's shaking, Acqua pretends not to notice the tremors as she finishes taking care of Charanth's injury. "There," she says, looking satisfied as the wound heals with only a very faint scar to reveal it was ever there. Damien smiles at her.
"Thank you Acqua. Charanth is one of my best warriors and I would hate to have to refuse to allow him to fight because he was injuried."
"Glad I could help," replies Acqua. "Try not to feed yourself to any more wolves, Charanth."

[Kender Bard]

"Thank you," is all he says, in a very quiet voice before briskly striding out of the room.

"Poor man," Alethia quips. "I wish we could put his fears to rest."

"It's instinctual," Talon points out with a shrug. To Damien, he says, "Do you need anything else?"

"Shadow back where he belongs and those Clears cowering at my feet," mutters Damien, making Acqua giggle quietly. "But I doubt you can help me with that. Thank you again for healing Charanth, Acqua. Rest well." With that, Damien turns and leaves.

"So what are we going to do tomorrow?" Talon asks the group, now that Acqua was back with them. "Have you thought more about your decision, Acqua?"

Acqua nods. "Yeah, Hawk made a suggestion that you and Amaro should go to Flux and ask about Alethia and my mother while Alethia and I investigate any other ideas she might have of where to look." Amaro frowns slightly.
"I'm not sure I like the idea of spliting up," he comments.

[Kender Bard]

"Me either!" Talon is swift to reply, clinging to Alethia. Alethia, on the other hand, just looks quite thoughtful.
"If I had to go somewhere else, it'd be Ronduin," she admits.

"Ronduin's fine with me," Acqua replies. Amaro frowns.
"Spilting up would be dangerous," he points out. Acqua gives him a mock thoughtful look.
"How dangerous do you think it would be for a person, alone, to be trying to get to Ilyamen right now?"
"Insanely," snaps Amaro. "And what's that meant to mean anyway?" Acqua stares challengingly at him.
"I'm not going anywhere near Flux, Amaro. If Alethia is prepared to go with you and Talon, that's her choice... But if that's the case I'll take my chances getting back to Ilyamen."
