Acqua hesitates then glances questionally at Alethia. "What do you think sis?"

Alethia looks white as a sheet, but she nods numbly. "They're right, unfortunately. It would be the best place to look. Ironically, it is probably the best place to get away from the war as well. Nobody but us would be crazy enough to venture near there."

[Northen Light36]

"I'm not sure I am crazy enough to venture near there," replies Acqua bluntly. "Give me some time to think about it all right? We need to tell Damien and Lya about Shadow, Cascata and Jokell anyway."

[Kender Bard]

"Very well," Alethia conceded. "Are we going to Lya or Damien first?"
"Lya at least we know will be in her home," Talon points out. "Damien is hard to keep track of."
"Just look for the bossy Fire type," Alethia jokes, elliciting a chuckle from Talon.

"For a Fire type Damien isn't too bad," Acqua murmurs, although she sounds slightly distracted. "Compared with what we put up with from Amaro, Damien is practically a push over." Amaro rolls his eyes and not-too-gently smacks Acqua over the back of her head.
"Hush for awhile, brat."

[Kender Bard]

Talon just grins and shakes his head. "If we're going to see Lady Lya, I will lead." True to his word, Talon picks up the pace and walks in front of the group, nodding and saying whatever necessary to get past the guards - most of whom recognize the group as Lya's earlier escort.

Acqua hurries back to rejoin the members of their group who'd been left behind. "Tom! Lessa! Flash! Laura!" she calls. "Lady Lya's given permission for Tom to enter the city." Flash grins.
"Great! It's freezing out here."

[Kender Bard]

Laura brightens up and smiles at Tom and Lessa.

Tom smiles as he stands up stretching. "Thats great news!"

Lessa nods as she starts to get ready. "Yeah, it was getting boring out here."

Acqua smiles. "Come on. Amaro's probably already arranged rooms for Tom and Lessa at the inn and I'm sure Laura would like to get home." Quickly she leads the way back to the city.

[Kender Bard]

When she nears her own home, Laura bids everyone goodbye and hastily leaves.

Flash says his own goodbyes and hurries after Laura. "I promised Saph I'd look after you, remember?" he tells her.

As soon as Acqua, Tom and Lessa arrive at the inn, Acqua stops. "Amaro, Talon and Alethia were getting rooms here. You should be able to find them easily." Without waiting for a reply, Acqua walks off.

[Kender Bard]

"I know, Flash," she sighs. "I'm sorry for being so rude. I just miss them terribly and worry they've gone on a suicide mission."

Flash puts a hand on her shoulder. "Saph's strong and clever, as are you, and the twins take after both their parents," he tells her. "We have to have faith they'll come home safely."
