Tom frowns in thought. "I dont want you bonded to me unless there is no other way to get you out of town...do you have the ability to cloud the minds of others to make them look right at you but think they see something else? Or perhaps cloud the minds of anyone who may try to stop me so I can more easily convince them that they dont need to search the wagon?"

"It's not that," Calim sighs. "I could do that for a few individuals, not a whole town though. But there's so many Clears here... I'd be drawn to them simply by the sheer amount." He smiles faintly. "We wouldn't be bound long. Once we're out of Lacuna and on the way to where I need to be, you could always ditch me."
Tom sighs. "I suppose thats the way it has to be. I've done this a few times before and some of the elementals i've helped free were...difficult to convince to run away. But I suppose untill you are all recovered and...'attached' to me I guess you are my guest."

"This is all so absurd," Calim laughs quietly. "All of it. Oh, nevermind." He finishes his meal and goes back to lay down and rest his throbbing head. "Tell me, do you know of the state of relations between your people and mine?"

"Our leader has been taken captive," Calim growls. "There is no insult greater than that. We intend on taking him back, but I need to go home and find out what is needed of me." He sighs. "That's why I need out of Lacuna."
"It's the very least my people owe's to you and all other elementals....I can only imagine what may happen if they break the master of your people..." Tom shudders. "Though I hope Lessa wont have to much problem going to Naurod.." Tom shakes his head. "Nevermind. Thats something for her to say if she chooses to."
