(There are no turn orders in the demon lord fights. Join in when you can. You must have finished all business in the zones in order to join a battle. You may choose to leave one area and join another, just like regular zone-shifting.)
Thuoth charged up a narrow strip of bloody sand, gathering energy as she went. Her goal was clear--the Demon Lords were moving in. For the moment, most remained behind. But Tuatha had decided it was time to go forward and join in with the upper-elite demons that were plugging the gaps left behind by fallen ranks.
"Tuatha!" Thuoth called out, catching the faerie's attention. She lifted a finger and pointed at him. "You'll take no step further!"
Tuatha smiled easily, as if the two were having a friendly chat across the street rather than a throwing down of challenge on the field of battle. Putting his hands on his hips, the diminutive faerie called back, "Thuoth! If I can't step further, however will I be able to continue speaking with you this way? Shall I send a messenger bird?" He gestured casually and a flaming bird with blackened, smoking talons swooped overhead, diving down at Thuoth.
Thuoth made her own simple gesture and struck the bird with a bolt of lightning, felling it easily. "Your pets will be of little defense against me."
Tuatha's smile withered into an expression of distaste, as if he'd bitten into something rotten. "That wasn't very nice." He whistled, sharply, and several demons from around him began to converge, all of them animalistic in some way though twisted and warped. "My friends don't like it when people don't play nice."
Thuoth's eyes danced between the numerous demon-animals. She was sorely outnumbered. While ordinarily such creatures wouldn't pose much threat, their combined focus was a bit more worrisome. But they don't matter. Her eyes slid back to Tuatha, barely visible behind the wall of animal minions. You only need to cut off the head of the snake. She brought up a telekinetic barrier and rushed forward.
