"That's a big wall," Deimos noted from afar. Tuatha nodded. "Go fly above it and tell me what's on the other side."
Tuatha grinned and flew ahead and above. He did a few passes high above the city before returning quickly. Nobody had noticed him. "Lots of humans!" he said. "It's a whole city. Are we going to go inside?"
"I am," Deimos answered with his ever-present grin unchanging. "I do like a good entrance though. Why don't you go first? You're so pretty and you have so many pets, it should be a good show." He giggled. Tuatha did as well, though the faerie's laughter wasn't nearly as spine-tingling eerie.
"Of course," he agreed, giving the large, terrifying demon a little cuddle before flying back towards the city, much lower now. He landed and began to strut confidently towards the gates. The Minds on duty began to reach out to his mind on instinct but took in his wings and fire-hair and realized that there was no way this was a mortal. The disgusting film left on their minds from touching his confirmed their suspicions.
"Close the gates!" one screamed. "Demon!!"
"My name is Tuatha," he replied with a toss of his hair. "And that's very rude of you!" He watched as the massive gates began to swing closed, pulled on by heavy chains from the inside. "My pets and I just want to play!"
He threw his arms into the air and there was a sudden hot wash of brimstone and heat. The veil covering the animals he had picked up and warped along the way dropped and they surged forward, quickly slipping into the city. Tuatha giggled and followed. Most of his pets had been gleaned from the edges of the Beastlands and the desert. One of them, his favored, was a Nightmare beast that he had warped. It now resembled his friend Euryion--six legs--and breathed fire as well as wore it. He had fangs as well, which Tuatha thought was a nice touch. The Nightmare-demon steed had attacked one of those pulling the doors shut, trampling him and biting. Tuatha hastened over and hopped on his mighty steed's back. "Onward!" he declared and he and his animal army headed in towards the heart of Sensatia.
