Tevran considered that briefly. "I think it might be a good idea. It will give you and hopefully my brother a chance to try to figure out your respective feelings and we'll be able to protect you on the way." He pauses to look at her. "There are other people who might be worried about you are there not? You'd have to come with us regardless so that you might safely try to contact them."

[Kender Bard]

"My family," Divria confirmed. "Though they know I'm out and abroad. My father might contact me on his own though, if he gets concerned or just curious. He's a Mind; I can't reach him but he can easily reach me. Still, I should probably send them at least letter. All the more reason to go then... I guess you've convinced me. I just hope I'm not willingly throwing myself into another trap." She peered at him.

Tevran gave Devria a somewhat confused look. "That would be a pretty elaborate trap you realize." He answered back.

[Kender Bard]

Divria could hear the unspoken 'don't flatter yourself' in the statement. Maybe he was right. "Forgive me for my paranoia. It's been a very unnerving past few days. When do we start heading out, then?"

"Knowing my brother, he'll probably want to get moving as soon as possible even with his injuries." Tevran answered with an almost wistful smile. "Don't worry though, whenever we do head out I'll make sure he doesn't over exert himself."

[Kender Bard]

"Then I'd best get ready," Divria remarked with a deep breath.

Sure enough, Arcan bullied and badgered the two of them to prepare for travel. Though they did set out, they didn't make fantastic time. Several days later, and they were still walking their way through the woods.

"Are we lost?" Divria demanded of the brothers. "And why aren't we taking the road?"

"I told you, the road is dangerous," Arcan huffed.

"The woods are dangerous!" Divria shouted. "The road is safe! You're just being stupid! Unless you're trying to avoid people."

"People are dangerous," Arcan replied evenly.
