Wisdom's whole face lit up at the prospect. He nodded energetically. "That's perfect!" he blurted. "Yes! But!" He held up a finger. "While I am willing to take.. Some abuse, I suppose, I'd rather not more than was strictly, um, 'fun' for them. I want a lover, not someone who just wants a whipping boy." He held up a hand as a Lustful looked at him hopefully at the word 'whipping.' "Sorry, no, figure of speech!"

Fiest chuckled and made a shooing motion at his fellow Lustful. "It takes all kinds; I doubt everyone who wants a pet like that is into giving pain. There's likely some who prefer using a lighter touch; Soahc knows I do."

[Kender Bard]

"You know anyone who you think would accept me and that I'd like?" Wisdom asked him hopefully. He gave Fiest a sad look. "I feel like I've gone after everyone." Of course he hadn't. Flux was a very big place.

Fiest chuckled again and ruffled Wisdom's hair lightly. "If you'd gone after everyone, the Bower would know and we'd all be wondering why you weren't one of us. I don't know anyone off the top of my head, but let me ask around for a couple days. You can come in here any day of the week and find someone to share pleasure with for a mark or two, but what you're after takes time."

"Aint that the truth," he grumped but couldn't help but smile a bit. "Thanks for the help Fiest. It means a lot to me." He gave a nervous giggle. "Never thought I'd be getting romantic help from you. Or any of the other Bates for that matter."

"You should know by now that anything's possible, especially in Flux," Fiest said, poking him in the side.

Wisdom squeaked and squirmed, giggling. He tried to push Fiest's hand away. "How long do you think it's going to take?" he asked. He could hardly wait to meet some of the people Fiest suggested. He was a little nervous too. What if the problem lay entirely with him? What if people just didn't like him that way and never would?

Fiest sighed with an expression of good-natured exasperation. "Didn't I just say that this was going to take time? I'll have a better idea after I have a chance to chat some folks up, Oh Impatient One." He made for Wisdom's side again, this time with both hands, but stopped short of actual contact.

Wisdom gave a sharp little inhale of breath at that and then laughed nervously. "I know, I guess I just wanted a guess of how long is long? Well, fine, fine, I'll let you work your magic in secret. But just know!" He held up a finger dramatically. "That I'm going to be temporarily converting to Curiosity until I find out more later."

Fiest laughed. "My oldest sister is Curious. I think I'll live." He'd take a Curious interrogation any day, especially compared to what he might end up having to do. Ugh. He'd save looking through the Proud for last. He wished Nyx would stop by; he could probably coax his elder brother into talking for him. Barring that, though, he figured he'd better prepare to do some begging.

"Come back in a couple days, and I'll let you know what I've found."
