Lita shrugged and coughed up the coin for the room and a supper. It would be nice not to have to cook for herself for the first time in a while. "Thank you kindly." She smiled happily.

The man smiled and exchanged key for coin. "Will you folks be needing anything else?"

Drystan does the same, then thinks for a moment. "Are there any sights to see here, interesting things to do? We've been travelling for some time, would be nice to relax and enjoy ourselves."

[Kender Bard]

The innkeeper considers a moment before replying, "We've got a lovely temple here... And there's our library too! It's small, but the Thuothian priests here run and they do a good job of keeping the place clean and respectable. Come nighttime, too, there might be a show. We got a few retired bards here who like to put on a performance now and then."

Lita nodded. "I wouldn't mind seeing the temple, at the very least the way those places are build and the statues are always a lovely sight." She said with a bright smile to Drystan.

[Skittlebug]

Drystan nods, "Let's leave our things in our rooms and do some wandering then?" He was happy enough with heading to the temple, if nothing else it should be peaceful, and calm. While he had been getting used to Lita's company during their travels, her constant up beat attitude could be tiring after days and days.

Lita nodded happily as she went up to the room and carefully put her things down being sure to lock the door as she left again. When she was done she waited for Drystan in the lobby like area.

Once Drystan gets back from his room he grins to Lita, feeling more relaxed already, and offers her and arm. "Shall he explore then?"

Her grin widening Lita happily takes his arm. "But of course. It's what makes life worth it all." She smiled as they headed out into the town to see what there was to see, and do the things there were to do.

Drystan leads them first through the town to the temple, curious just how 'lovely' it was. They ended up taking a fairly roundabout route, but in a town this size it wasn't likely they'd get lost anyhow.

The village itself was fairy small. Most of the buildings of interest were centralized for easy access. The local inn, tavern, temple, Thuothian library, stables, blacksmith, and a few more similar shops were quite clustered together. Branching out from them were some simple houses and, in the distance from them, modest farms, though some were little more than large personal gardens. The entire place had a humble appearance and feel to it and everyone seemed to know everyone.

"Simple." Lita commented offhandedly. "Though I enjoy the change from the big city." She smiled taking in the sites and the feel of the place.

The sentiment strikes a chord, but Drystan shakes it off and leads them into the temple.

The temple was a hushed, quiet place. Even from the Soahcian wing, there was little noise. Whatever they were doing in there, it was fairly subdued.

The silence was shattered as a passing Efilian stopped short and stared at Lita with wide eyes and an open mouth, followed shortly by a scream. The Efilian pointed. "You! Monster!! How DARE you return here!?"

Drystan jumps at the sudden shout, wings flaring and half thinking the woman was yelling at him at first. Once he sees that she's pointing at Lita, he frowns and looks between the two, obviously confused.
