Narrowing Down the List (Plot)

[Skittlebug]

"He's right." Naomi smiles and looks between Renlo and Michael, waiting to see if Michael has any more questions, not that they can answer much more.

[Darastrix]

"I rather believe that I'm the lucky one," Michael replied, stroking over the skull with his thumb. He wondered if this meant he might get a chance to see Lord Taed again, before he died.

"Am I to do anything now?" he asked, looking to Naomi.

[Skittlebug]

Naomi shakes her head, "There's not much more we know, sorry. Just keep the ring and wait. Once we've delivered the last ring we think that Taed will reveal more."

[Darastrix]

He wasn't particularly surprised by her answer; had there been more, surely she would have told him before he'd accepted Taed's ring. Still, he would have liked more information since it wasn't a matter he'd be able to research much in the meantime.

"Very well." Perhaps he would go to the debate hall later so he could at least bat theories around with some of the other priests. It'd be an interesting exercise, if nothing else.

"Now, is there any way we at Mentis can help the pair of you?" Michael asked. "Granted, I'm no authority here, but given your task, I doubt many would refuse to assist."

[Skittlebug]

"We do only have one more stop, however I'll need to meditate for a vision to find just where the last of the chosen is." Naomi answers. "If there is somewhere here I could meditate in peace, I would be grateful."

[Darastrix]

"You're welcome to use this room if it will serve your needs," Michael told her. "You shouldn't be bothered."

[Skittlebug]

"This would be fine, thank you." She smiles and begins preparing to meditate. As soon at they have a destination, it should be a problem getting there and they can get down to finding the last of the chosen.
