Neil smirks, "But that would take all the fun out of killing you." Not to mention it would mean putting more strain on his still healing leg than he'd be comfortable with. Though he is feeling pretty cocky at the moment, with the ease he's having hitting the demon. "Though I suppose you're right, you're so outmatched that this is hardly fair."

Orhaz shifted to a slightly more casual but ready stance. "As much as it would please me to simply destroy you, you've proven to have potential and my lord could use your skills. He can offer you immortality... Or anything else you desire."

Ichor spurted out and Orhaz bellowed. Some of the blood began to immediately flow back into the wound, but some turned into a fine mist that he inhaled to enhance his speed and reflexes. He spun around quickly, much more quickly, and lashed out at Neil with a claw.

Not expecting the sudden burst of speed, Neil is caught by the demon's claws and flung back a short distance, bleeding from a few good cuts on his arm and sie. He teleports upright rather than push himself up, that would take too long, and gives Orhaz a look that's part fury and part challenge. "That's more like it," he grunts. "Put up some fight."

Neil swings at the demon, trying to get a hit in before teleporting away at the last moment. He judges it just a little slow though and gets a glancing blow across the ribs. He keeps his distance this time, watching for the demon's next move.
Already preparing to get out of the way, Neil manages to only get scorched. He hastily builds up power before teleporting again. Enough playing around, it's time to find out why mr happy here couldn't come any closer toward Acoia. Risking getting close for longer, he grabs hold of the demon and ports them both a fair distance back toward the holy home.

The demon had enough time to take another swipe at Neil before roaring in agony. His skin sizzled and bubbled and smoke rose from his body. After a few minutes of contorting in pain, he tried to scramble away in the opposite direction of the temple.
Neil's victory is cut short by the sudden pain in his leg, just where it was still healing. The demon's last swipe had managed to catch him in just the right place. As Orhaz contorts on the ground Neil's leg give out and he topples as well, cursing loudly. Once he manages to right himself, more or less, he grabs for the demon again, this time teleporting repeatedly until he intercepts the Templars that were riding out.

The templars were stunned to say the least but they recovered quickly. Their horses screamed and reared a bit, so they each hopped down save for one who focused on trying to calm his horse. The rest of the templars fell upon the demon with an almost savage brutality, hacking and slashing at him. Between that and the obvious damage being inflicted on him for his proximity to the temple, Orhaz didn't stand a chance. When he died, however, his body bloated up and exploded in a gory shower. The blood thus expelled caught fire and two of the templars suffered bad burns.
The one templar on his feet and relatively unharmed helped rally his colleges together and then checked no Neil. "Are you all right?" he asked, pushing up the visor of his helmet to reveal a red, sweating face.
