After the first leg of their journey, everything had gone relatively smoothly, much to Naomi's relief. It hadn't sat well with her having to agree to leave Renlo should anything go very wrong. She'd come to appreciate the Reaper a lot, not just for his protection, but companionship as well. Since fleeing the Mystic temple she'd felt acutely alone and, while he may not feel the same, she felt a bit closer to the man for having travelled together.
"The woman I'm supposed to find here, Morrigan, in the vision I had she was wearing the robes of a priestess. I hope that means it won't be hard to find her."

Renlo had been friendly from the start, and their brush with danger did nothing to diminish that. He was still cordial and talkative with Naomi. "It shouldn't be hard at all," Renlo replied. "Just ask one of the other priests here if you can talk to her. Though if you don't mind, I'd like to part ways for a short bit. I want to meet the Reaper here and catch up on news. We don't hear much in Athrug. It's not like we have a steady stream of visitors."

Naomi smiles. "Of course, I should be able to handle myself in a temple, right?" Once she gets to the temple she begins to look for someone with robes similar to the ones Morrigan had been wearing in her vision.

It's not hard; as soon as she steps into the Taedean wing, that's almost all she sees. The apprentices, of course, wore simple and unadorned grey robes but all of the other priests wore the same outfit in roughly the same style. She did get a glimpse of someone wearing something a bit more elaborate, but they were gone quickly, off to do business.
One of the priests breaks off upon noticing her and greets her with a soft voice. "Welcome," she says. "How may we help you?"

After the priestess poured out a cup for Naomi, she bustled off. Before long, Morrigan appeared, looking a little confused. "Hello," she greeted. "You... Asked for me?" For what, the priestess couldn't imagine. She didn't recognize the woman at all.

Well that was easy enough, now Naomi just hopes that Morrigan accepts her explanation and the ring. "I've brought you a message from Taed himself, you might want to have a seat." She sets about explaining the situation and the rings to Morrigan, producing one for the priestess once she's done.

Morrigan stared at the ring.
Taed still loved her, despite her folly? Her heart gave a squeeze of emotion at that, mostly pleasant though a bit apprehensive. And these demons!
Had that been what Frakir was? She shuddered suddenly; that question would haunt her sleep for a few nights now.
"If my lord calls," she announced, reaching for the ring. "Then I will answer him faithfully." Taking a deep breath, she slid the ring on, watching in amazement as a skull formed out of the bone to grin up at her. She swallowed hard. "Is that all?" she asked, her voice light and uncertain.
"Well, two men in Talen'sul, Zevran and Nicolaus, then a man named Tadeus in Khelek who looked to be a priest, and a man in Mentis named Michael." Naomi doesn't think it's likely that Morrigan knows any of them, but it doesn't hurt to share.

Morrigan shook her head. "No, I'm afraid I'm not acquainted with them," she admitted. "Much as I thought. Very well; if there's anything I can offer you, however, don't hesitate to ask. If I explained to the head priest, I'm sure he'd be willing to dip into our coffers to see to it that you're well provisioned and situated with a fast horse... or we could even find a Mind to simply teleport you."
Naomi smiles, "Anything to make this go faster would be appreciated, it wasn't clear just how fast I needed to deliver the rings, but I'm sure the sooner I'm done the better. I've got a Reaper travelling with me as well." She isn't sure if it would make a difference to a Mind, but it's worth mentioning, she really wouldn't like to continue on her own after all it took to get here.
