It's Thistle's turn to be surprised, though pleasantly so. It takes a second for him to react, but he kisses her back. Gently though, not like earlier. Sure he had wanted to those other times, but that had been more about surprising and throwing her off.

Kura blushed and pulled back. So; it wasn't just a tactic then.

"We've kissed four times today," she told him. "And I think that means that we're automatically... Lovers!"

It made a bizarre kind of sense, to her. After all, she didn't really see courtship in the temple... Generally people took what they wanted and if two people found one another highly pleasant, they stuck together and became lovers. At least, that's how Kura understood it. Sometimes they got married if there was a big desire for a party, but marriage was for adults. Even the teen acolytes and young priests had lovers. She heard them boasting of it often enough.

Thistle blinks at that, a little surprised. He pulls her a little closer in a one armed hug and grins, "Just because we kissed, or because you want to be?"

Kura fidgeted slightly at that. She'd rather hoped he'd just agree and go along with it; now she was the one on the spot.

"Both," she finally said, trying to be cagey. "I wouldn't have let you kissed me if I didn't like it, and because we did, we are now lovers! Right?"

It occurred to her that, in his expansive elderness (she guessed him to be older, at any rate), he might know something she didn't. "Unless there's something else that you have to do first...?" She gave him a sideways eye. She didn't think there was but maybe she could fish for information.

Thistle doesn't give her time to think of more ways to interrogate him. "Just this." He leans in to kiss her again, this time much more seriously. He liked the idea of them being lovers, he did like Kura a lot, more than just a friend, and spending time with her was the high point of his day lately, this only makes sense.

Kura didn't pull away this time or for quite a while later. When she finally did, she blushing and smiling brightly. "Well... I think we better head back in. I'm getting hungry and I want to know where Ly might have gotten to. You can come with me if you like. Otherwise... I'll see you later?"

"You go ahead, I'm not that hungry." He was pretty sure Lysander didn't want to see him, and he was in a fairly generous mood, he'd spare Kura getting in between what would likely be another fight between him and her brother. "I will definitely see you later though." He grins.
