Sure enough, one of the city guard was patrolling the area nearby, keeping an eye out for troublemakers. Thankfully, in Neo'anar, they tended to be few and far between, and the woman had ample opportunity to exchange a brief greeting or a nod with passers-by. She was middle-aged and slim, with short-cropped brown hair that bore a streak or two of grey, and carried a bow. On her shoulder was perched a brilliantly blue bird.
'Madam?' Elda thought as she turned toward the pair. Carl's tone wasn't lost on her, though it was still a shade better than 'Hey, you.' The little bird hopped a bit on her shoulder, tilting his head curiously at this new bird-affinity.
"A Mind healer? Aye, there's one in the city I know of. It's not very far from the temple, in fact." She rattled off the the directions; the Mind healer's place was situated near an herbalist and a physical healer.
((OOC: If you need someone to play a Mind healer, I can cover that.))
