"Do you think this is going to be Atyar?" Kiri asked Altair and Neil with trepidation. The place certainly didn't look big enough to be Haven, surely. It was a small, sleepy little village that reminded her of her own home in some ways. Though instead of being on the edge of the Great River, there was instead an 'ocean' of fields surrounding the village.
"There's no villages this far from Sensatiamens right?"

Neil shrugs, "You'd know as well as me, one way to find out though." He starts walking toward the village, not waiting to see if the others are going to follow. He'd been trying the boundaries of what he can get away with since his aerial fun with Altair, though his attempts had less and less bite to them lately.

"I think it is," Altair murmured to his sister, utterly ignoring Neil. He'd been behaving as though the other man didn't exist since Neil's 'fun'. He wrapped an arm around his sister's shoulders and added, "We should be safe enough here, if it is."

"I hope so," Kiri breathed out and led the way to the village. It was walled but there were no gates and it didn't look like there was even a guard on duty. She stepped into the village proper, looking around. "Maybe we should try to find an inn or a tavern to talk about what happens next."

"Sounds like a good plan," Altair agreed, not that he'd disagreed with much his sister had to say. By this point, he was just as caught up in Kiri's influence as Neil was. Altair just didn't have any orders to follow.

Neil nonchalantly slips his right hand under the shoulder of his shirt and mutters under his breath. He brushes against the mind of the first person he sees, trying to glean where the inn is without having to ask anyone and risk letting on just how unnerved he is knowing that most of these people must be Clears.

Most of the peoples' surface thoughts were filled with the normal mundane thoughts; food, money, love, worries, hopes. Kiri took the more blunt route, stopping a woman carrying a basket full of vegetables. "Where is the nearest inn?"
She shifted the basket in her arms and pointed. "The Blindman's Rest is right there."
"Thank you," Kiri murmured, not sure she liked the name of the establishment but heading inside anyway. Surprisingly, the place was well kept and clean and smelled more pleasant than many taverns did. She located a table and settled down in it with the two men. "So, we're here now." She glanced at Neil. "What am I going to do with you?"

Neil grumbles something under her breath and stares at the table, reasoning that no matter what happened now, it wouldn't be good for him. However he can't help but glance up at Kiri just for a moment, with a strange, almost sad expression.

Kiri did catch the look but tried to not let it register. "Well he's a Mind, are you sure they can hold him?"
Just then, another pair entered the tavern. One was a young man with brown hair and sharp green eyes. Accompanying him was a young woman... who bore an uncanny resemblance to Kiri, sporting the same long dark brown hair, sweetheart face, slightly pouty lips, and even the same height and build. Kiri stared, shocked.

"That can't be," Kiri gasped, still staring at her doppleganger.
On closer inspection, the woman was a bit older than Kiri. And she moved with a kind of confident grace that Kiri didn't possess. Feeling eyes on her, she swept the tavern with a glance before noticing the trio at their table. Her own eyes widening, she tugged on her companion's arm and bolted out of the place.
"After her!" Kiri cried, almost tripping as she leapt out of her chair and took chase.
