It's been a long time|Mystic Temple, Naurorod

It has been some time since the main work to build the Mystic temple was completed and they still searched for the proper way to practice there belief's in a unified way, though perhaps even that search was part of what they were already looking for.

Etch was deep in meditation with a group of fellow Mystics in the main reflection chamber within the temple.

[Kender Bard]

Meeka entered the temple silently, a man following behind her with equal softness.

She frowned at seeing that all the mystics here were meditating. Ordinarily, she wouldn't dream of interrupting them. However...

She tread over to Etch and lightly touched his shoulder. If that didn't get his attention, she'd leave him until he was done.

[tuo]

Etch's eyes open at her touch, it seems he was not in the middle of a vision or deep meditation. He looks at her and smiles lightly before rising, knowing she wouldn't interrupt for no reason. As he stood he noticed the man following Meeka and gestured to the both of them to follow him outside the reflection chamber so they can speak without disrupting the others.

[Kender Bard]

Meeka gently touched his hand in passing, smiling at him, and stepping out of the room with him. "Etch," she said. She only used his title during formal times and ceremonies, knowing he preferred she be more casual with him. "This is a very special guest. Grand Master Vasil of Eresserod, the Sulan monastery for monks."

Vasil, a man in the prime of his life with dark brown hair pulled back into a topknot, light green eyes, and a lithe, wiry build, clasped his hands together and bowed to Etch. "It is an honor to meet you, High Mystic."

Etch smiles and bows his head to Vasil, offering his hand to shake. "It is an honor to meet you, Grand Master. Welcome to our humble home. Are you thirsty or hungry from your trip here?"

[Kender Bard]

"The kind woman here slaked my thirst when I arrived," Vasil assured Etch as he shook his hand. "I've come to see the temple that I've heard of but never seen. I feel our people are something of kindred spirits, revering all the Forces and in a unique way."

[tuo]

Etch smiled and nodded slightly. "Indeed. I remember when my family visited the Sulan Monastery when I was a young. It was an enlightening experience. Though I suppose you are not here for my childhood memories." He finishes with a bit of an embarrassed smile.

[Kender Bard]

Vasil chuckled softly. "I don't mind; I've got some fond stories of my own. I grew up in the monastery, myself. But I'll admit that this isn't entirely a pleasure trip." He clasped his hands behind his back and stood a little straighter. "I've got an idea. But it's very, very ambitious and not at all in line with typical activities of the monastery. I was hoping I could beseech your fine mystics for a vision on if I should make an attempt at my dream."

"What is it that you seek to do?" Meeka asked.

Rather than answer directly, Vasil asked them both, "You'd agree with me when I said that the peace of Naruta is far from complete, correct?"

[tuo]

Etch nodded thoughtfully. "That is true. We have heard word of many troubling events. We have also had a number of troubling if difficult to understand visions. As for your request, I cannot promise anything but I will gather some of my brethren to try and gain a vision for you."

[Kender Bard]

"That's all I ask," Vasil replied. "Do you charge for this service?"

"No," Meeka answered. "Though donations are appreciated."

Vasil, having anticipated at least this much, slipped a small pouch out of the pocket of his pants and held it out to Etch. "Here, then. I hope the Forces grant you clear vision. And if you don't mind, I'd like to wander about the temple a little. The place is beautiful."

"It's quite spartan," Meeka murmured with a wry smile.

"Simplicity is lovely in its own way," Vasil argued.

[tuo]

Etch nods with a smile. "That is true. The desert as well has a harsh beauty of it's own as well." He clears his throat. "Well, I should go find volunteer's for this task. Please make yourself comfortable while you wait." He says before giving Meeka a kiss and goes to find some mystics who are willing to participate in this.

Etch later returned with four other mystics who volunteered for this and he bowed his head to Vasil. "If you will follow us, we can begin. I warn you however that a vision is not guaranteed and it may not be something you want to hear if it does occur."

[Kender Bard]

"I understand, both of those things," Vasil replied. "I'm surprised, though, I wasn't aware you needed me to be present. Then again, I know almost nothing about mysticism."

[tuo]

Etch smiles as he guides Vasil to a room where the other mystics begin there preparation. "It is not strictly required no, but I feel that it should help with the vision more then it would hinder it if you were present." He answers as he takes his place among the other mystics and begins to prepare.

[Kender Bard]

"I'll be quiet then," Vasil responded, watching the preparations. "Just direct me where to go and what to do. How long do you suppose it'll take to get an answer or a lack of one?"

Etch seemed to discuss something with the other mystics quietly before answering Vasil. "If you can meditate in the middle of the room, we believe if may aid in our attempts. As for how long it will take, with any luck within an hour or two. But if there is nothing by the time the moon rises we are not likely to receive a vision at all."
