Supreme Domination|Darkthrone, New Morilanta

[Devon]

"He just came to answer a prayer of mine," Saul said. Holding out his hand he pointed to the new ring. "With this I'll be able to keep a hold over the Black Swan and also protect the two of us should he decide to bite the hand that feeds him," he began. "All I have to do to protect someone from being killed by the Swan is to prick their finger on the point of the ring, it has to be renewed on the new moon of each month though," he instructed her.

[Kender Bard]

Anarchy glanced at the ring. Well. It was beautiful but vicious looking and she didn't relish the thought of pricking her finger each month but it wouldn't be the first time she endured a monthly pain, now would it? "I believe it's a new moon tonight."

[Devon]

"It is, I already tried it out on myself," Saul said. "Here," he leaned forward and gently took hold of Anarchy's hand. "It will only hurt for a moment love, and besides the month of protection is worth it."

[Kender Bard]

"Very well," Anarchy murmured and flinched with a wince as he pricked her finger. "Ow," she scowled and stuck her finger in her mouth. After a moment, she removed it and asked, "What did he look like?"

[Devon]

"I'd say handsome, but there was this obvious otherworldly quality to him," Saul said. Taking her hand he kissed the finger she had pricked. "His hair was silver and he was about as pale as moonlight. He said he was pleased with my work so far in Morilanta."

[Kender Bard]

"That's fantastic," Anarchy breathed, a little wide-eyed still at the revelation. "Oh Saul, we have a Force's blessing and favor. A pity I could not ask him for his feelings on Ekaitz. If he showed displeasure... it would be the ultimate sign to proceed with my deepest wish."

[Devon]

"And what is your deepest wish love?" Saul asked. "I may not be a Force, but I'm sure I have power enough to try and grant it."

[Kender Bard]

"I want to see Ekaitz brought to heel, brought low and made to bow their haughty heads to me," Anarchy whispered with a fierce passion. "And if they will not bow... then to have them destroyed."

[Devon]

"We'll see what we are able to do with them," Saul said. "They are quiet and as allies I believe we provide more than they do. If we continue to gain strength from our new alliance then we may have to just make Ekaitz submit to Morilanta." Saul cuddled up behind Anarchy, wrapping his arms around her. "Just imagine, the same ones who cast you out could be calling you Empress."

[Kender Bard]

Anarchy closed her eyes and let out her breath in a small, desirous sigh. "I don't think anything would sound sweeter to my ears than that." She turned and kissed Saul gently before adding, "And if anyone is capable of bringing the mighty, proud Ekaitz to its knees, it is you."

[Devon]

"As soon as our other endeavors bear fruit then I will work on getting Ekaitz for you," Saul replied, returning her kiss. "Besides this being a gift for you, it is good strategy after all. Morilanta is overdue for some branching out. I was never sure what vision Nissar had when he was in charge, but I plan on ruling this land for years and years to come. I know you don't like the subject, but down the line I will need an heir."

[Kender Bard]

"I was under the impression that it wouldn't matter," Anarchy murmured, growing a little more withdrawn. "After all, the next leader will be determined by the high priest, correct?"

Of course there was another way. She had heard enough, and thought enough, on Rajani and Nissar to wonder if perhaps they weren't planning on finding a way around the national law through power play with their children.

[Devon]

"Correct, but if there is a way for the Dardan name to stay in power I'll find it," Saul said. "But don't worry about it now. I don't mean to concern you with children that you don't want, but my mind is always looking ahead. For now let's focus on a vacation, just the two of us..I was thinking of a cozy island."

[Kender Bard]

"Surely not Ronduin," Anarchy replied, distractedly. Perhaps if he did have a plan, she could acquiesce to his wishes. Maybe begin to ease off her babybane. Of course, if he really COULD get her Ekaitz, she'd bear him ten children if that's what he wanted in return. Not that she'd tell him that of course.

[Devon]

"Hmm, no," Saul murmured. "I had something a little farther away in mind Anarchy, but you're going to have to wait and see whats in store," he said with a small grin. There were still some things he kept from his Empress, even though she knew most matters of state and a few of his secrets. More for his personal excitement of surprising her, than any lack of trust between the two.
