[Kender Bard]

Vespiria shifted. "...Yes. But not until after Athrug is rebuilt. Not until people have had time to cool down. Otherwise there will be cries for their blood, and enough blood has been shed. Would you like to take this one-" she nodded to Arngrim, "-for your needs and I will take the other one?"

"Yeah," Pandora sighed. She slowly laid down next to him, gazing at the ceiling. "Is that a problem though? For you? I mean, by now I think you've got a fair estimate of my virtues and my vices."

[Devon]

Giving Vespiria a sideways glance he replies, " I think even if we give the people the truth, we should leave out their names." Christian eyes Arngrim for a few moments before sighing. "And yes that will be fine. He should prove useful in rebuilding Athrug."

Darin shakes his head and continues on talking, "It isn't a problem for me. Is it a problem for you? I think we've both gotten to know each other very well."

[Kender Bard]

"Then we have only a few more matters to attend," Vespiria said. "Do you wish to come back to Acoia with me or shall I send some of my people to Athrug for the rebuilding?"

"I like you a lot," Pandora said simply. "Most of what could be considered your failings are quite endearing. That which isn't, is bearable." She rolled onto her side and looked at his face carefully. "So, where does that leave us?"

[Devon]

"Hm," Christian pondered. "For now I'll return to Acoia with you, from there we can prepare for Athrug. Before we leave Ilyamen, I'll be going to Taed's temple and getting out a message to have builders meet at Athrug."

Darin leans forward and kisses Pandora on the lips quickly, "I'm yours and you're mine. I can't get rid of you, I'd probably never meet another woman who could challenge me the way you do." Darin grins wide, "I'm perfect, where do I have failings?"

[Kender Bard]

"Very well," Vespiria agreed. "Well let's prepare that." With that she left him to finalize her own details.

Pandora gave a soft laugh. "Oh, I'm not sure. You're so humble, it's just so difficult to tell." She hugged Darin closely, grinning at him. "So, more than partners. You'll be my mate then? In Beleg we often do not bother with ceremony. We simply take our mate and that is that. But I understand that the rest of the world prefers more pomp, so if there's something special you'd like to do...?"

[Devon]

"Well she is nice," Arngrim stated. Lawfer shook his head and the two mercenaries looked at Christian. "So what do we do now?" Lawfer asked. Christian shrugged his shoulders, "Go rent a room, we'll see you in the morning." With that the two mercenaries left Christian's room. Though they weren't on the best of terms right now, they did decide to share a room since it would be cheaper for them, though it took them hours to decide who'd get the bed and who would get the floor. Eventually Lawfer won in a game of chance so the bed was his.

"Hmph I'm not much for having big ceremonies," Darin replied. "All I need to know is that you're my woman and I'm your man. Anybody messes with that, then we have problems." Darin smirked and nuzzled against her neck. "We've come a long way from you trying to poison me. Do you think Ven will get jealous?"

[Kender Bard]

~I have a choice?~ the snake grumbled. He was still coiled cozily in Pandora's bodice.

"No," she laughed. "Well, maybe a little. I think if Ven was a human, you'd find yourself in quite a fight."

~I don't want to be a human, I want you to be a snake.~

"As it is.. He'll have to suck it up," she said, and kissed Darin's cheek.

[Devon]

Darin smiled and murmured, "He'll forgive me one day I suppose. For now I'm going to have to ask that you move him from his current resting place."

[Kender Bard]

Pandora slid her hand down her bodice, coming back up with Ven firmly in hand. The snake hissed at her, but she merely hissed back and set him on the floor.

~You'll feel bad if something happens to me down here.~ the snake said, as close to pouting as he could get as he disappeared under the bed.

[Devon]

Darin watches Ven slither under the bed before turning his attentions back to Pandora. "Is he upset?" he asked with a smug grin on his face. "I've always wondered what made you like me Pandora?"

[Kender Bard]

Pandora shook her head, grinning. "He's just pouting. He has no say over who I choose to be my mate, and I doubt he cares too much so long as I continue to give him affection too." She cuddled closer. "Hmm, I don't know." She thought about his question a little harder. "Wherever you go, danger follows. I like that. It's a lot of fun. And below that arrogant exterior I know you're a deeply caring man, which surprises me in a warrior."

[Devon]

Darin brushes a lock of hair from over Pandora's eye. "I can't help it with danger. I think danger may be the sister to Lady Luck and she obviously has a thing for me. It has always been like that for me, no matter what I was doing I always found a way to get into trouble." He tries to wipe the grin off of his face, but has no chance at succeeding on that. "Arrogant? I'd like to think of it as enthusiastically sure of myself. I never knew I was so caring."

[Kender Bard]

Pandora reached up and grabbed Darin's hand in her own, smiling warmly at him. "Don't worry," she cooed, "I promise I won't tell anyone. I know you have a reputation to uphold."

[Devon]

"Only you would understand that Pandora," he replied. Darin shakes his head and laughs out loud, "You know we would have never met if it weren't for some psycho killer."

[Kender Bard]

"Says a lot about our social life," she giggled and snuggled into the blankets more comfortably, growing drowsy. "How about if we come across a suicide-killer we'll call that our 'wedding'?" She snorted and laughed again.
