[Kender Bard]

Allura nodded and glanced at Ryuk. "Will you.. still be here?" She felt awkward asking but she didn't want to wake up and find herself alone.

[Devon]

Ryuk glanced back at her and nodded quickly with a smile. "Sure I will. You were still showing me around Ronduin, I can't leave my guide like that."

[Kender Bard]

Allura smiled and managed to finally relax, soon slipping into a sleep.

When she woke, she was momentarily confused and frightened. "Seron?" she whispered, glancing immediately to her side. Seeing nothing, she sat up and looked around.

[Devon]

Ryuk was sitting on a stool in the corner half asleep. His eyes darted over to Allura as he was roused out of his light sleep by her movement. "Hey Allura? Are you okay? Shouldn't you be sleeping? That lady might get mad."

[Kender Bard]

"I woke up," she murmured, rubbing her eyes. She felt.. immensely better, but that was not a hard state to achieve when the alterantive is a hole in your chest. "Are you okay? Have you slept at all?"

[Devon]

"I'm fine," Ryuk replies with a smug grin. "I slept enough. I uh, just didn't feel that tired is all. You had a rougher day than I did." Ryuk quietly scoots his stool closer to Allura's side, "Did you have a good rest?"

[Kender Bard]

She considers her dreams, what she could recall. Mostly of Seron. They usually were.

"No better or worse than usual," she said in a mutter. "But what now?"

[Devon]

Ryuk taps his finger against his chin, "Well I don't know what now. You know Ronduin better than I do. So I guess you can decide." Ryuk pauses and thinks for a moment, "Hey..do we have to pay the healing lady?"

[Kender Bard]

"We should," she mumbles. "Those that cannot pay do not have to... I don't think. Those that can would do well to. After all, they've saved so many lives, ours included." She took the last copper she had and set it down near the bed. Her chest still hurt but not so much that she couldn't move, and she wanted terribly to leave this place. "After that attack, I don't know if I wish to remain in Ronduin honestly. It's not as though there's anything tying me here."

[Devon]

Ryuk puts a few coins of his own next to Allura's contribution. "I hear ya there, Ronduin looks like a nice place, but it has a bunch of crazies in it." Ryuk stood up and stretched a little bit to get the body moving and the blood flowing. Ryuk stopped abruptly and quickly posed a question to Allura, "Hey since you don't know if you want to stay and I just want to see more of the world, why don't we travel together for a while?"

Fiddling with his hands, he added, "We don't have to stay together the whole time, if you find some place you want to stay for a while feel free, but it would be safer if you didn't travel by yourself."

[Kender Bard]

Allura smiled at him and felt tension she hadn't realized was building flow out of her muscles. "Thank you. I appreciate the offer. You're right, it isn't safe, and you've already proven yourself as a capable warrior. I'd be honored that you'd let me go with you. Do you know where you want to head next?"

[Devon]

"Great! The compliments don't hurt either, I really am a capable warrior." Ryuk booms with pride, then yelps out an oops and quiets down before the owner of the place got up. "Uh..to be honest, I have no idea Allura. I just started walking in a random direction when I left Naurorod and wound up here."

[Kender Bard]

She giggled quietly. "Come on, let's go to the office of the Mother and see if they'll let us look at a map."

[Devon]

Ryuk nods and holds his hand out to help Allura stand up. "all right, lead the way please." He smiled and waited for her to show him where they were going. It was against his better judgment to be so friendly with a woman after the trouble in Naurorod, but he was never a person known for good judgment.

[Kender Bard]

Allura accepted his hand and flashed him a smile. It felt good, really good, to have a friend again in an otherwise friendless world. Without a word, she led him through the city, walking with haste, until reaching a building wherein secretaries worked like bees in the hive.

"May we see a map of the world?" Allura inquired politely of an aide. He nodded and jerked a thumb back at a map that sat framed on the wall.

Allura approached it and smiled. "Here's us." She pointed to Ronduin on the eastern edge of the 'world'. "And here is where you came from." She traced her finger all the way to the western side of the world.
