"Of course, I'll try not to bother her if at all possible.." Shima say before going to shake Mikasi's hand. "Perhaps we can speak later Mikasi?"

[Kender Bard]

~Aye if you like and you can catch me at a time when I'm not busy~ Mikasi agreed as he shook Shima's hand back. He flashed Shima another image--the outside of his storefront. ~This is my home and other place of work. You can most likely find me here.~

Shima nodded. "Thank you. I'll see you later then." He goes to shake Mikasi's hand before leading the others back out and to where Alexandria resides.

The house seemed quiet and quaint. If it was small, well, that was understandable. Verity walked up and cautiously knocked on the door. After a moment, it opened a crack and Alexandria peeked out. She started to close it again, not recognizing the people visiting her, but paused and opened it wider as she stared straight at Shima, wide-eyed and speechless.

Shima stepped up gently. "Alexandria? Are..how are you doing..? I'm sorry I haven't returned before now.." He asked in a soft voice, worried about how she might react.

[Kender Bard]

Alexandria bit her lower lip and studied him intently with haunted eyes before rushing forward to throw her arms around him in a tight hug. "Oh, my angel," she breathed and squeezed him tighter. "I missed you so much."

Shima returned the hug and stroked her hair gently. "I missed you too Alexandria..I'm sorry my business took so long..how have you been?"

[Kender Bard]

"It's been hard to move on," she murmured, eyes closing slightly. She sighed slightly. "But you came back. You're alive." She added, mentally, ~I know now that you're not really an angel. Mikasi helped me to see that. But perhaps Taed or Etaf did have a hand in how you helped me. Regardless, you will always be MY angel.~

Shima released a breath in relief. ~I'm glad Mikasi has helped you. I was worried about you..so much.~ He looked over at Ichi and Verity. "I'd like to introduce you to my friends, Ichi and Verity."

[Kender Bard]

Alexandria remained holding tight to Shima for a moment. She wasn't an empath but her emotions seemed to hum against his mind, a strange mix of emotions.

Verity, on the other hand, was tightly shielded and her face carefully blank of emotion. "Hello Alexandria."

Alexandria glanced at the other two and smiled, though it was a tad forced. Mikasi had been helping her with her social skills but she still had a long way to go. "Hello."

Ichi looked at Alexandria and smiled slightly while nodding his head. "It's good to finally meet you Alexandria."

Shima then spoke up. "So..is it possible for us to catch up then..?" He asked Alexandria.

[Kender Bard]

"I'd like that," Alexandria replied, turning her head to look back at Shima.

Verity swallowed a little hard. ~There's really not much that Ichi and I could add to a conversation like that. Do you want to be alone?~

Shima thought for a moment before responding. ~If..if it's not a problem with you yeah..~

Ichi already figured that was the issue and didn't want to stick around much longer anyways and already was walking away.

[Kender Bard]

Verity stood looking at the two of them, hesitant and tense before she turned and sprinted after Ichi to catch up to him.

"Come inside," Alexandria urged, taking Shima's hands and gently drawing him into her home. It's terribly plain, stark with its lack of furnishings or personal touches. There are a couple chairs, a table. Necessities and nothing much more. Alexandria went to her dining table and pulled out both chairs before taking one and sitting down on the edge of it, staring intently at Shima. "Where did you go, afterwards? You said you needed to free your friends. Did you get captured again?"

Shima noted how the inside of the building was before she sat him down. Upon hearing her question he shook his head. "No..I..I tried to ask the other temples for help before I finally had to resort to asking a mercenary guild to help free my friends. With there help I managed to help Ichi and Verity out of Ekaitz..I should have found a way to help them sooner..both for them and so I could check on you sooner.."
