Timing? Schuldig thought, raising his brow. What was Keir up to? Well, he'd find out later.

"I'm always open to suggestions," he said. "Have something in mind?"

"Good, good," Keir enthused. "Yes, I most certainly do. Come with me!" He stepped quickly through the Soahcian wing, looking around. From the stairs descended a yawning pair of priests and Keir hurried over to reach up and tug at the robes of one of them. "Sonya, Sonya, we've got a Lustful guest. I want you and Draylon to say hello before you run off."

"We've got a lot of appointments to keep," Draylon protested. The man spoke with a cultured roll to his words mixed with a Maelstrom accent.

"Oh, Dray, let's at least say hello to a brother of the path," Sonya protested, her voice placing her as the same region as Draylon had come from.

"Oh very well, love."

Keir, grinning, beckoned to them and hurried back to Schuldig. "Here he is!"

The pair of priests were very pretty to look at and they seemed to have an air of wealth to them that was only somewhat muted by the plain robes they wore. Sonya, a pretty, green eyed woman with long blonde hair held back in a ponytail, wore a delicate and expensive looking silver necklace which hung an impressively sized topaz to match the light yellow embroidery on her robes. She bowed her head to Schuldig, "A delight to meet you. I'm Sonya."

Draylon, a hazel eyed brunette, grinned at Schuldig and offered his hand. "I'm Draylon. We're the resident Lustful here."

"Schuldig," he greeted, "The only resident Lustful in Khelek." He took Draylon's hand and, rather than shake, attempted to bring it to his lips to kiss.

Draylon chuckled in amusement, allowing Schuldig the gesture and then moving his fingertips to pet the other man's cheek. "Well aren't you lucky! I imagine you're nearly as busy as we are."

"Can't you set your work aside for today and show him some of the little hidden spots that most folks don't know about? Destine already showed him to the Den," Keir told the two.

"Charming little place but they're much too selective with their clientele," Sonya sighed. "But this is an unexpected treat so I should say we should."

Draylon gave Sonya a pouty look. "But today is my favorite whip lady!"

"Pah, you can always see her later," Sonya tutted. "Come, Schuldig, why don't you join us? I'm sure you're aware of all the lovely services in Sensatia, but we can tell you where your massage comes with a special ending and the who's who in Sensatia that can do anything you want, no matter how unusual it is."

"Brothels are all well and good but I find there's a certain spice to a place that keeps an air of illicit surprise," Draylon agreed. "What about you? It can be so easy to be jaded in our path, especially if you've been at it for a long time."

Jaded? With lust? Well, if he had to plan everything out like a Thuothan, maybe.

"I think I'd get fucking bored having my encounters scheduled in advance," Schuldig said. "I haven't been a priest that long, but I've been doing about everything minus the preaching for years. Hasn't gotten old yet."

[Kender Bard]

"Well no not if you have been keeping things interesting enough," Draylon remarked. "New people, new things to and with them and all that."

"We started this... scheduling as you put it because certain personages were getting a little out of hand," Sonya remarked. She shook her head. "Well it's all in the past and to us this is a new way to go about things so it's certainly worth a try. But back to Blue's request--would you like to see the underbelly of Sensatia?"

Schuldig grinned and started to answer, but before he could respond, his entire demeanor seemed to change. He froze in place, eyes wide, and his face pale. A beat later, his teeth started grinding together and his expression shifted into a snarl as his face grew red with anger. His eyes almost blazed with the glow of his element as he touched his signs and shot his mind out towards his daughter's.

~HARMONY! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?~

Ow! Harmony's reply was. She hadn't even projected it telepathically. She jerked from her slumber and held her head as her sprite hovered nervously to her, chattering in her ear with concern. Well, she'd expected they'd find out of course. Not going to let him stop me, she thought doggedly and began putting up her shielding and doing her best to strengthen it. If he was going to yell at her, she wasn't going to let it be easy at least.

Drayson and Sonya glanced at each other in some concern at the sudden change. The group being Minds, they knew when some bad news had just been delivered.

"What-" Keir began but Sonya shushed him.

Schuldig was undeterred by his daughter's attempt at shielding. He was older, stronger, more experienced, and, most importantly, worried to death and pissed off because of it.

~Stop you? STOP YOU? I've got half a mind to just say fuck it since you clearly don't give a flying FUCK that you're far enough away that Filly can't even reach to tell that you're still ALIVE and or I'm stuck in Sensatia working for Thelon or that we can't have Nagi leave because they need his power in Khelek to keep his people from being killed by a giant worm or that if anything happened to you I'd just about fucking KILL myself and all you have for a guardian right now is your Uncle-fucking-Sol and that's just as BAD as it might be GOOD.~

Harmony flinched with each statement. She curled up tightly in on herself and cried softly.

"Don't cry," Tom told her, buzzing nervously around her. He hugged her neck. "It's okay!"

~I HAVE to go!~ she told Schuldig bitterly. ~I have to! And nobody was going to let me! Nobody was going to take me! So I'm going on my own! And I'm sorry that you and Mom are worried sick, but if I'd said anything you would have stopped me!~ She scrubbed at her eyes angrily. ~And if Soahc's watching over me, then I know for sure that I'll be okay. I'm already halfway there. Just another day or two and I'll be with the other faeries and I'll be able to find out more about this whole thing.~

Schuldig snatched his hands away from his signs and yanked at his hair before stalking to the nearest wall. He beat his forehead against it once, decided he really didn't want the headache that would cause, however briefly, and just stood there with his eyes closed.

I can't believe Filly still wants another--How is she going to keep from getting hurt; she can't even fig--I'm putting her with fucking FARF when she gets ba--love her so much I hate her right--too much like me; she'll run at the first chance if I take her home. I want her to be safe--safe is borin--don't want to turn into fucking EFIL over her--Soahc, Soahc, Soahc....

He wanted to believe that Soahc would keep Harmony safe, and when it came right down to it, when Schuldig had really needed him, he'd delivered. But this...he had a feeling that even if Brad were in his shoes and it was Etaf promising to watch his kid, Brad would worry, too. The Forces didn't exactly have the same priorities that they did.

Filly and Harmony could wait a few minutes. He had someone else he needed to talk to.

~Locket, I don't suppose you have any advice on leaps of faith?~

Locket's reply was a bit startled. Filly had told her what was up as well and now she was worried too. What do you mean? Locket replied, confused. Oh, this must be- yes that's right, Filly said something about Soahc getting involved. I...

In Khelek, Locket chewed her lower lip. She was a great deal more sympathetic to Filly now that she had her own children. If one of them had gone missing and Soahc had told her to not worry...

I don't think I could do nothing. I trust my lord, but I also don't think he'd take it amiss if I tried to take matters into my own hands. If that's what you're talking about.

~Careful,~ Schuldig said, lips twitching slightly. ~You're starting to sound like a responsible adult. But 'nothing' is the last thing I'm planning to do. I just needed to hear something, you know? Something not from Filly or the kid or a priest that doesn't have the first fucking clue what's happening.~

Talking to himself was a singularly unenlightening exercise when he was too mad to think straight, after all. But yes...he could keep an eye on Harmony. After he talked to her face-to-face, so to speak.

Locket smiled faintly to herself. Children are a singular corrupting force towards responsibility I fear.

Harmony, after the sudden silence, wasn't sure what to think. He couldn't have just decided 'well okay then.' "Tom, I'm worried."

"Me too."

Her sprite was such a comfort. She curled up and closed her eyes. Maybe she could get a little more sleep before pressing on....

Schuldig snorted at that and left Locket alone. He turned so that his back was against the wall and pulled the green and black cloth tied around his forehead down around his neck so he could press his signs together and retreat into his mind.

~Okay, you and I are having a chat, here and now,~ he told Harmony, reaching out to her mind and pulling.
