Brownie Points are the currency of Naruta. They're gained by posting, participating in events, and a variety of other ways. They're used for buying prizes from the Brownie Point Shop (see below) or just bragging rights if you like to hoard them.
How do I get brownie points? Posting: 1 point per post. Donations: $1 for 50 points (please contact me to find out how and in what forms you can donate) Making a Mini-Plot: 50 points Finishing a Mini-Plot: 50 points Using a character in a mini-plot: 25 points per character enrolled actively. Start a Contest/Event OOCly: 50 points (needs prior admin approval) Submitting Helpful Information: 75 points (suggestions must be cleared by me beforehand)
50 points per fanfic page (in Word or Open Office, single spaced, standard font and pt.) 50 points per character/creature drawn. An additional 30 points per character if fully colored. Another 30 if inked.

Player owned stores mean that a player has something they can offer to the community--usually artistic abilities such as fanart or fanfics--and they are willing to do 'commissions' in exchange for brownie points. Your points are going directly to them for what they're offering.

Help! I don't know what to bargain or wish for!
Got a Force Wish to burn? Want to make a bargain but uncertain how? Below is a list of some ideas to help you get an idea of some potential gains for your character! (Note, some of these would also fall under the prize 'lucky find for character!')
Lesser Wishes/Bargains ==================
24 hours as the opposite gender.
A 'sixth sense' about the well being of a specific person.
A creature with a unique elemental mutation (nightmare with a mane of crackling electricity, pegasus with wings of fire, winter wolf with limited teleportation, etc). And I do mean unique. No two alike, and the creature is infertile.
A miniature version of a larger creature (snake-sized frost wyrm, dog-sized nightmare, canary-sized roc)
An item that heightens a certain sense.
An item that makes you extra lucky.
A pet or mount with unusual colouring, ei a horse with spots or a dog with stripes.
A scrying bowl [Limited uses, limited info]
A tame cockatrice, complete with falcon hood.
A truth stone, heats up when a lie is being told [limited uses]
Clear Collar: Placed around another person, they are bound to obey the Clear that put it on them regardless of time and distance until removed. Cannot be removed by the wearer.
Storm Collar: The Storm who places this collar on another person imbues it with a portion of their own elemental power. When the wearer disobeys the Storm, they are subjected to a strong electrical shock. The Storm can also have the collar deliver shocks at will.
Elemental Pet - a living bit of an actual element with roughly animal level intelligence.
Gargoyle (for all your night time household protection needs)
High-class luxury items for lower-class characters
Item of your choice that grants resistance to the effects of a single Element or Clear influence.
It's Got a Hemi: This item is a carriage that allows users to travel across the lands of Naruta in less time than it would normally take. Travel time is cut down by two weeks.
Pet salamander (the fiery type).
Special Beast - Non-animal (special creature) affinity for a Beast
Tame desert dragon
Uncanny Insight: Seers have quick mini-visions to alert them of nearby dangers or important opportunities i.e Spider-sense
Your very own speshul parasite! Maybe your character drank some bad water. Maybe they ate something that was a bit underdone. Maybe they traveled to places unknown and something come back with them. The end result is that something is getting food from them, and instead of just suffering (though they do that, too), your character gets an added benefit. (Ex. A blood-sucking parasite leaves your character physically weaker than usual, but the character also gains heightened hearing and smell to better avoid getting their now-weaker ass killed. An intestinal parasite causes increased hunger and weight loss, but the character is also highly resistant to poisons.)

Ability to change the colour of your eyes and hair. [Bargain]
Ability to talk to animals (for a non-Beast). [Bargain]
An animal with a trace of elemental ability, like the mind cat, but not necessarily with the ability to pass on it's traits. [Bargain]
An article of clothing that allows small glamours. [Bargain]
Animal Whisperer: Beasts gain the ability to talk to animals outside of their affinity
An intelligent plant companion. A plant-path Earth would be able to communicate with such a plant with words rather than empathy. [Bargain]
An item that lets you feel what another person is feeling. [Bargain]
An item that lets you see through someone else's eyes.
An item that suppresses one's sign. When worn, one of the wearer's signs (wearer's choice) will seem to disappear and cannot be used until the item is removed.
An item that turns a Clear's aura back on themselves. (if a Clear tries to ensnare you they get ensnared themselves, so long as you have the item)
Beasts: Change affinity [Bargain]
Blessing of the Secret-Keeper: Permanently lose a specific memory. This is not a matter that a Mind can reverse; the memory will not be hidden or repressed. It will not be blocked by a Force-created shield. It will be GONE. [Bargain]

Diverse Joining: You can have a like-sign Joining experience with any Element except for your own. This does not negate the harmful combinations, however. (Ex. A Storm with this ability can Join with a Fire, but trying to Join with another Storm will simply allow the Storms to tap into each other's power. Joining with a Water will still result in electrocution for the Water, but now the Storm gets to share the Water's mind and emotions while it happens. Not advised.)
Efil's Mercy: Gain the ability to draw the physical pain of another into yourself. It won't heal the other person's injury or illness, but they won't suffer for it. [Bargain]
Faster pregnancy (1-3 months shorter)
For Clears: Dismissal: The ability to instantly break the hold your own thralls.
For Clears: Transfer: The ability to push one of their ensnared thralls into the thrall of a fellow Clear, thus eliminating the need to wait for the former master's influence to wear off and the new master's influence to take hold.
For Fires: Flames of Healing: Similar to healing water. A Fire can conjure flames that heal the injury that is passed though them. The flames are real fire, though, so unless the injury is life-threatening or otherwise worse than what burns may be sustained, it's best used on other Fires only. [Bargain]
For Waters: Instant Healer, Just Add Water: Permanently give up the ability to use your element for anything except for creating healing water, gain ability to create more potent healing water in larger quantities than normal. [Bargain]
Gain a sign [Bargain if 3rd sign]
Grow younger. [Bargain]
Harmless Joining: If you possess one of the signs that is harmful/fatal when touched to a certain other sign (Water and Storm, Water and Fire, Fire and Ice), your sign will not do you or the other Elemental harm if your signs are touched together. (Good luck explaining that to the other person, though)
Heavenly Council - Ask 3 questions, receive 3 NON CRYPTIC answers from a Force or angel [Bargain if non-mystic/Etafian]
Holy Communion: spend a day or night in the company of the Force of your choice.
Induced Madness - Willingly allow yourself to experience reality different. Ie, hallucinations, smells, tastes, touch, etc.
Intelligent animal pet [Bargain]
Item of your choice that grants immunity to the effects of a single Element or Clear influence.
Item that enhances sign power
Item that grants prowess in an academic subject or skill
Never-ending Coin purse
Not a Joiner: You can share/tap into another's power when touching your sign to the same type of sign on another, but you will no longer be able to experience like-sign Joining.
One of the Dragon blessings that your people received, but you didn't get ei: wings, gills or such.
Permanent gender change
Regeneration: Although you can be killed, wounds heal at an amazing rate [Bargain]
Regular communication with a spirit [Bargain]
Revive the dead [Bargain]
Sky Home - A house or home that one way or another is able to ascend into the sky. [Bargain]
Slow aging: For every 2 years that pass on Naruta, your physical age increases by 1. [Bargain]
Special animal, pet, mount, companion, etc is reborn. [Bargain]
Two different animal affinities (for a Beast). [Somewhat Similar]
Willingly haunted: Able to see the spirit of a loved one but not speak with them.

For Beasts: Gain the ability to shape-shift into the animal you have an affinity with

No Touchie: Ability to use one's signs without needing to touch them.
Otherworldly Companion: Able to see and speak with a specific spirit at will.
Receive a dragon blessing that your people didn't get: Storm with wings, etc.
Sky Village - A collection of buildings that can stay in the sky similar to the Sky Home
