Bandon nods, remembering the notice board. He hadn't read anything on it yet, being preoccupied with joining and then the tour, but he knew what Timble was talking about. "all right then, none in Humontis. I'll be right back." He spared out last look around the room before turning around, re-tracing the path Timble had led him on through the guild.

After a short while Bandon returns, scratching the back of his head thoughtfully as he considered his options. "There are two missions that I feel I could do well with. There's the one in Naurorod, about the rumor that a widow is stalking and killing married men; there's also one in Talen'sul, where a man claims that a priest of Soahc has been committing sacrifices to Soahc and asks that we enter the priest's chambers to find evidence."

He lowered his hand, nibbling on a corner of his bottom lip instead as he thought further.

"I can do the one in Naurorod fairly easily, pretending to be a married man and baiting the widow if need be, but I think I would need a female partner to be more believable."

"The one in Talen'sul, however...that one seems easier for me. Depending on where the priest's room is located, I could sneak in, or I could disguise myself as a man of the cloth, like him, and stroll in with no one the wiser."

He pauses in his rambling, watching Timble for his reaction. "Does the one in Talen'sul sound good to you?"

Timble looked a little drawn. Soahcians. He repressed a shudder. "Aye, better you than me," he said firmly. "I don't mind being a distraction though. Keep him from running back to his little hole. Sound like it might work?"

Bandon nodded, either not noticing Timble's aversion to the idea of dealing with the Soahcian priest or deciding not to draw attention to it. It was probably the former, however, as the cogs in his mind were slowly turning as he considered how he should act and his options for the mission. Fine details would have to be hammered out on the fly, but he could already feel the base personality of the disguise settling into his mind -- if, that is, he would have need for it.

"That sounds perfect. I think I'm going to go retire to a room now; I'm prepared to set off tomorrow, if you are."

It was easy to see that he was eager to get to work. It had been some time since he'd last taken up a bonafide mission like this from someone in authority, and he could hardly wait to get out and prove that he still had it.

Timble smiled and gave a little nod. "Yeah, I'll be ready by tomorrow," he agreed. "Pleasant rest."
