Sashi was humming to herself as she played as a human target. She was helping a young, new recruit practice their throwing knives by running, dancing, jumping, and being a very unstationary target while the greenie threw light, wooden practice knives at her. So far it seemed Sashi was getting the better benefit of the two as she practiced her dancing.
"Hello Lukas," she called out when she saw him. "Want to join me? It's safe as can be here."
"Shut up!" the newbie complained, sounding near to tears.
Lukas glanced at the training and made a small, disappointed sound as he shook his head. "Sashi, there is training and then there is this. Breaking her confidence won't make her a better mercenary after all."
"Fine," Sashi answered with a wave of her hand and walked away. "Try hitting the stationary target more." She left the angry mercenary recruit throwing the wooden knives viciously at a painted target and walked up to slip her arms around Lukas. "And how are you today?" she asked.
"Oh you're here for work," Sashi amended and eased her hold on him, stepping back a bit as she casually snatched the letter from his hand. She raised her brow slightly after reading it. "Hmm... highly dangerous work. Ekaitz has been known to stab first, and don't even bother with the questions. Actually I take that back, they're known to clap you in irons and beat you until you can't think again. Which is what sounds like what happened to this poor man's friends. Well, Lukas, are you feeling up to a high risk mission? I can think of a way already to at least get us up to the front gates without being hunted down."
"Well isn't it obvious?" Sashi replied with a smirk as she handed back the letter. "They're the infamous All Hail Storms, Storms Are The Best, Being A Slaver Is Fun group. We get one of our fellow Storm mercenaries, go in as their 'slaves' and pretend to be browsing the market to buy more slaves. First chance we get, we grab our targets and you teleport us the hell out of there."
"Do you know where the letter came from?" Sashi asked. She moved to put just one arm around Lukas and started leading him to another room. "Somewhere we can speak with him face to face or at least write back?"
"Then we'll grab our fellow Storm and be off to Humontis," Sashi declared. "Get packing, Lukas. This sounds like an important job. Do you think you can take three of us with teleporting or are we going to hoof it?"
