It had been a couple days after the attack out in Flux. Had Dreamwarp not heard that the men responsible been taken care of, she would have made it a personal mission to try and hunt them down to skin alive herself. As it was, she took it out on some of the other Fluxian civilians, going out with whip and lashing out at anyone she found, until her anger had vented and she returned back. By then the boys and Kura had been tended to by the healers with strict instruction to be looked after and get plenty of rest. They dosed Drake's medicines with poppy and other sedatives and foisted him off on Dreamwarp while Adam was bundled off to the Generous who made it their personal mission to pamper and coo over him for the next two days.
After the fussing had come to a conclusion, Dreamwarp gathered them both up in her room to cuddle and talk and simply enjoy their presence. She had Drake cuddled under one arm even as she leaned up against Adam comfortably. "So it sounds like your little girl put up a surprising fight," Dreamwarp remarked to Adam. "Can't say I'm THAT surprised, though. As a street child, she had to know a little fighting. Still, most children would have run off or found a hole to hide in, not turn around and go off like a wild cat on her attackers." She ruffled Drake's hair, turning her face towards him and musing, "Perhaps you should take her by the Wrathful. See if she takes to them. We might find a place in our big, happy priesthood for her after all. The sooner she finds her place, either way, the better."
