[Kender Bard]

Anarchy nodded and drew away from Saul slowly, glancing around; there was no lack of people. What had started as two small crowds had blossomed somewhat as people decided to use the road in front of the palace as 'court' for the day. Anarchy looked around and happened to spot the man she had mentioned earlier - Lord Blaine was on his way out, however.

Anarchy tugged Saul's sleeve and pointed discreetly. "Him," she breathed. "He's getting away."

[Devon]

Saul nodded and lead Anarchy by the hand after the man she had pointed out. Walking quickly to catch up with the man Saul called out to him and said, "Such a shame isn't it? Children being kidnapped. What is this world coming to?"

[Kender Bard]

The man glanced over his shoulder and without comment kept walking.

"Toad," Anarchy hissed under her breath at his back before removing her hand from Saul's and dashing forward a little. "Lord Yellowcrest," she crooned as she made her way in front of him. He stopped short so as not to run right into her. "Not staying for a little chit-chat?"

"No," he replied curtly. "I see no reason to."

[Devon]

Saul quietly approached from behind, casually speaking to Lord Yellowcrest as he walked by to join Anarchy, "There is always time for a little chit-chat." Smirking he continued, "Besides I'm not very interested in kidnappings, we came to Maelstrom for business purposes and now no one seems to want to talk about anything else."

[Kender Bard]

This piqued the man's interest a bit more. "What kind of business?" Lord Yellowcrest asked cautiously.

[Devon]

"Trade of course," Saul said with a small smile. "This isn't your average trading venture though, there is more risk involved in this, but what worthwhile business doesn't have a little risk?"

[Kender Bard]

"Well that's true," Yellowcrest replied warily. "Perhaps we should discuss such matters in a place of more comfort. There's a nice eatery we can pop into." He gave an aristocratic sniff and added, "If it's within your budget of course."

[Devon]

Saul smirked to the man, to hide the sneer he wanted to show off in contempt. Calming himself he replied, "Oh I'm sure we can manage." The Clear was sure this man would make a good stooge and as petty as he was, he wasn't sure if he wanted Lord Yellowcrest to come out of this without some sort of 'accidental' injury.

[Kender Bard]

"This way then," Lord Yellowcrest instructed and headed off to a very upscale eatery, the Golden Summit.

Anarchy took Saul's arm in her own - she found this man, she wanted to see how it would play out. As they walked, she whispered into his ear, "What do you think of him?" Then she gave a very girlish giggle so Yellowcrest wouldn't suspect what she was saying to Saul.

[Devon]

"After you," Saul said as Yellowcrest lead the way. Linking arms with Anarchy, Saul smiled and nuzzled against Anarchy's neck in case Yellowcrest were to look back at them, while doing this he whispered, "He may do nicely for what we have planned, good job finding him."

[Kender Bard]

Anarchy didn't need to feign the giggle that came from being nuzzled. That taking some of the bravado out of her preening she lapsed into silence.

Once Yellowcrest had secured a table (seemingly with sheer presence and intimidation), he looked at the two in front of him and asked, "Now while we wait for our food perhaps you could inform me more of what this little business venture of yours is."

[Devon]

"There has always been something I've admired about the Storms," Saul began. "They are a proud, strong people..well they were," he said as he sighed and shook his head. "The Storms of old did not care for weakness, in fact I don't think they'd agree much with the new direction of the Storms. My idea for trade is a simple one, in fact its something the old Storms were very proficient with. In this day in age, it only requires a smart man like yourself to be careful with the idea."

[Kender Bard]

Yellowcrest pursed his lips sensing where this discussion was going. He took the tea he ordered when it was brought and sipped at it idly. "You are walking on dangerous grounds, friend," he replied. "I don't see why I should throw my lot in with someone who might create such a dangerous mess of it all."

[Devon]

"I'm not talking about the rampant way it was done before," Saul stated. "That would be uncouth. Think of it as having a collection of art to show off and compare with the wealthiest of your friends. I assure you I don't go around creating messes and what do you stand to lose? It isn't like you'd get your own hands dirty, I'd take care of all of it..I just need backing from someone of your prominent standing."

[Kender Bard]

Now Yellowcrest was far more interested and he cocked his head slightly as he considered. "I don't suppose you have any... specimens ready for viewing just yet?" he inquired.
